Geno Smith threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes, including a 5-yarder to tight end Colby Parkinson with 57 seconds left, and the Seattle Seahawks bolstered their playoff hopes with a 20-17 victory against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at Nashville, Tenn.

The Seahawks (8-7) rallied from a fourth-quarter deficit for the second time in six days after beating visiting Philadelphia by the same score on Monday night.

Smith, who missed the previous two games with a groin injury, completed 25 of 36 passes for 227 yards, including an 11-yard scoring strike to DK Metcalf with 12:10 left. Tyler Lockett matched a season-high with eight catches for 81 yards.

Tennessee's Derrick Henry rebounded from his worst game as a pro by rushing for one touchdown and throwing for another.

Henry scored on a 2-yard run with 3:21 remaining to put the Titans (5-10) ahead 17-13. He rushed for 88 yards on 19 carries, after having just 9 yards on 16 attempts in a 19-16 overtime loss at home to Houston last week that eliminated Tennessee from playoff contention.

Henry also threw a 12-yard scoring strike to tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo in the first half. It was Henry's second touchdown pass of the season and the fourth of his career.

Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, making his first start since mid-October with Will Levis sidelined with a sprained left ankle, was 18 of 26 for 152 yards but was sacked six times.

The Seahawks drove 75 yards on 14 plays for the winning touchdown. Smith was 7 of 9 for 57 yards, hitting Parkinson for the decisive TD on third-and-goal.

Smith completed all five of his passing attempts for 66 yards on the previous TD drive, which spanned 96 yards and 10 plays. On second-and-9, Smith lofted a pass into the back left corner of the end zone for Metcalf, who got one hand on the ball and pulled it to his chest.

The officials originally ruled the pass to Metcalf incomplete, but Seahawks coach Pete Carroll challenged the call and a video review determined Metcalf got both feet inbounds.

After a scoreless first quarter, the teams scored points on three consecutive possessions to open the second.

On the opening play of the second, Tannehill hit DeAndre Hopkins for a 13-yard gain to Seattle's 12-yard line.

On the next play, Tannehill pitched to Henry for what appeared to be a sweep around the right end. Instead, Henry pulled up and threw a scoring strike to a wide-open Okonkwo.

The Seahawks reached Tennessee's 10 on the ensuing drive before settling for Jason Myers' 28-yard field goal.

Nick Folk kicked a 33-yard field goal to put the Titans up 10-3 at the half.

Myers converted a 27-yarder on the first drive of the third quarter to pull Seattle within 10-6.
