Matt Ryan threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns, Michael Turner rushed for two scores and the Atlanta Falcons held off a second-half charge to defeat the visiting Cincinnati Bengals 39-32 on Sunday.

After trailing 24-3 at halftime, the Bengals scored 22 points in the third quarter to take a 25-24 lead.

But Atlanta quickly rallied with two fourth-quarter touchdowns, scoring on Ryan's 11-yard pass to Roddy White and Turner's 3-yard run.

White caught 11 passes for a season-high 201 yards, hauling in touchdown passes of 43 and 11 yards. Turner finished the day with 121 yards rushing.

Carson Palmer threw for 412 yards and three touchdowns, hitting Terrell Owens and Jordan Shipley for touchdowns in the Bengals' big third quarter and hooking up with Chad Ochocinco for a score in the fourth quarter.

Shipley caught six passes for 131 yards, Ochocinco added 10 catches for 108 yards and Owens caught nine passes for 88 yards.

Ryan completed 24 of 33 passes while winning his 12th consecutive home start to improve to 16-1 as a starter at the Georgia Dome.

Cincinnati (2-4) has lost three straight. The Falcons (5-2) have won five of six since a season-opening loss at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
