Steven Jackson rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown to lead the St. Louis Rams to a 20-17 upset victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.

Philip Rivers was 22 of 37 for 239 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Chargers (2-4), who have lost two straight games.

Jackson rushed for 28 yards and two first downs in the final three minutes as the Rams (3-3) salted it away.

Sam Bradford connected with Danario Alexander for a 38-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, and Jackson had a 7-yard run in the second quarter as the Rams raced to a 17-0 lead.

Bradford finished 18 of 31 for 198 yards.

Josh Brown kicked two field goals, including a 48-yarder with 3:56 left to give the Rams a 20-10 lead.

Mike Tolbert’s 1-yard run in the third quarter brought the Chargers to within a touchdown at 17-10, and Rivers’ 5-yard touchdown pass to Buster Davis with 3:16 left finished the scoring.

The Chargers' Malcom Floyd, who had 213 yards receiving last week, was held to two catches for 15 yards on Sunday, and left the game in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury.
