Broncos 17, Chiefs 9: Peyton Manning connected with Demaryius Thomas for a 30-yard touchdown to erase a deficit late in the third quarter as visiting Denver posted its sixth consecutive victory.
Manning completed 22 of 37 passes for 285 yards with two TDs and one interception for the Broncos (8-3), who haven't lost since Week 5 at New England.
Knowshon Moreno gained 85 yards on 20 carries in his first start of the season and Jacob Tamme hauled in a 7-yard scoring strike from Manning with 18 seconds remaining in the second quarter to give Denver a 7-6 advantage.
After Ryan Succop's 49-yard field goal with 7:35 left in the third put Kansas City (1-10) back in front, Manning found Thomas near the left pylon for the go-ahead score with 4:41 to play in the period. Matt Prater, who missed a pair of attempts earlier in the contest, drilled a 34-yard field goal with 14 seconds left in the fourth to seal the win.
Brady Quinn went 13-of-25 for 126 yards with an interception and Jamaal Charles rushed 23 times for 107 yards for the Chiefs, who lost their eighth straight game and fell to 0-6 at home. Kansas City has scored more than 20 points only twice this season.
