The Washington Redskins sacked Sam Bradford seven times - including twice in a row with his team driving late in the fourth quarter - en route to a 17-10 victory over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.

The Rams trailed 17-0 in the fourth quarter but received a field goal by Josh Brown and 15-yard touchdown pass from Bradford to Steven Jackson with 5:34 to go to cut into the deficit.

Washington quarterback Rex Grossman was intercepted on the next play from scrimmage, giving the Rams possession deep in Redskins' territory but Bradford was sacked two times to end the scoring threat.

Ryan Torain emerged from a crowded backfield to gain 135 yards on 19 carries for Washington. Torain scored on a 20-yard run two plays after Bradford was sacked and fumbled in the second quarter.

Jackson, who has been limited all season with a quad injury, carried the ball 17 times for 45 yards for the winless Rams (0-4). Bradford finished 20 for 43 for 164 yards.

Washington (3-1) took a 7-0 lead on Grossman's 6-yard pass to Santana Moss. Graham Gano extended the Redskins' lead to 17-0 with a 38-yard field goal in the third quarter.
