Daniel Gibson scored 18 points off the bench to lead five players in double figures and the Cleveland Cavaliers ended a three-game home losing streak with a 101-93 victory over the slumping Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers, who have struggled in third quarters all season, outscored the Sixers 26-16 in the period to take an 80-70 lead into the fourth quarter that was never really challenged.
Jamario Moon and Joey Graham both set season highs with 13 points apiece, while Anthony Parker and Antawn Jamison each had 10 for the Cavaliers.
Parker had the play of the game when he saved a loose ball from going out of bounds and flipped it 270 degrees behind his back to Jamison. It eventually led to a basket and foul and a 72-61 lead for the Cavs.
Cavs guard Mo Williams missed his second straight game with a groin injury, but Anderson Varejao returned after missing a game with bruised ribs to score nine points and grab five rebounds.
Thaddeus Young had 17 points and eight rebounds off the bench for the Sixers (2-9), who have lost four in a row for the second time this season. Rookie Evan Turner equaled his season high with 16 points and Elton Brand added 13 for the Sixers, who were again without Andre Iguodala (Achilles).
