Brook Lopez scored 20 points and the New Jersey Nets snapped a six-game losing streak with a 103-95 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Wednesday.

New Jersey ended its latest skid just hours after owner Mikhail Prokhorov announced that the team is ending trade discussions centering on acquiring Carmelo Anthony from the Denver Nuggets.

The Nets (11-31) were looser than they had been in recent outings and results showed. Seven players scored in double figures, New Jersey shot 50 percent from 3-point range and outrebounded Utah, 44-31.

Sasha Vujacic scored 15 points, Devin Harris added 14 points and eight assists and Travis Outlaw 13 and eight rebounds. Rookie Derrick Favors and Kris Humphries scored 12 points apiece and Jordan Farmar had 11 and eight assists for the Nets.

Harris and Favors were two of the players rumored to be headed to Denver as part of the package for Anthony.

Al Jefferson had 21 points and eight rebounds for the Jazz (27-15), who have lost the first two games of their five-game trip. Deron Williams had 20 points and 10 assists and Andrei Kirilenko tallied 17 points.
