The Minnesota Wild are still seeking answers during a rough start to the season and hope to begin finding some solutions when they open a brief two-game homestand Sunday against the Montreal Canadiens. The Wild, who also host Edmonton on Tuesday, have managed one victory and 14 total goals while losing six of the first seven games after registering 17 shots in a 4-0 loss at Montreal on Thursday.

After finally posting back-to-back home wins for the first time this season, the Washington Capitals hope to continue their success away from Capital One Arena when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday night in the opener of a five-game road trip. The Capitals own a 3-1-0 record away from home, knocking off three playoff teams from last season.

A pair of teams heading in opposite directions will square off Sunday night when the surging Edmonton Oilers open a two-game road trip at the slumping Winnipeg Jets. The Oilers, who have made only one playoff appearance in the past 13 seasons, are sitting atop the Pacific Division while Winnipeg is seeking to snap a three-game losing streak - all on home ice.
Calgary at Anaheim 9:00 PM ET
The Anaheim Ducks on Sunday aim for the best start at home in franchise history when they host the Calgary Flames. Anaheim has begun a season 4-0-0 for the third time overall and first since 2014-15 after posting a 4-2 triumph over Carolina on Friday.
