The Carolina Hurricanes finally had a breather after coming from behind to win each of their first three games beyond regulation. The Hurricanes have a chance to notch the best start in franchise history on Friday, when they host the New York Islanders in a matchup of Metropolitan Division rivals and a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference semifinal.
