Freshman guard Taveion Hollingsworth matched his season high with 30 points, and fourth-seeded Western Kentucky advanced to the NIT semifinals for the first time since 1954, posting a 92-84 win over second-seeded Oklahoma State on Wednesday at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla.

Sedrick Barefield hit a pair of 3-pointers in overtime, including the tiebreaking bucket with 2:06 left, and second-seeded Utah earned a trip to the NIT semifinals with a 67-58 win over top-seeded Saint Mary's on Wednesday night at McKeon Pavilion in Moraga, Calif.
