Yale at Florida 7:00 PM ET
Looking to snap a two-game losing streak, No. 24 Florida hosts a red-hot Yale squad that has won eight of its last nine games on Monday. The Gators fell to No. 11 Kansas on Friday, blowing a significant lead for the second consecutive game, leaving coach Billy Donovan with a strong message for his team. "Instead of attacking, as a team, we kind of backed up and let them dictate which way momentum was going to go. That's just something we have to do better," Donovan said.
IUPU - Ft. Wayne at Purdue 7:00 PM ET
Purdue had just one off day to digest a home upset loss to North Florida, and the Boilermakers probably like that, preferring to get back on the court to atone for the setback. Coach Matt Painter's squad can do just that when it welcomes IPFW to Mackey Arena on Monday. Purdue had a number of stretches of cold shooting in falling to the Ospreys, including one late in the game that allowed the visitors to rally from a nine-point deficit.
Kennesaw St. at Butler 7:00 PM ET
Butler looks to continue an impressive start under interim coach Chris Holtmann when the Bulldogs host Kennesaw State on Monday. Holtmann took over the reigns in early October when Brandon Miller took a medical leave of absence. The Bulldogs have thrived under Holtmann, posting wins over North Carolina and Georgetown with their lone loss coming to Oklahoma.
Savannah State at Miami-Florida 7:00 PM ET
Miami began the season with eight consecutive victories but hosts Savannah State on Monday looking to bounce back from a dismal showing in its first loss of the season. The 15th-ranked Hurricanes mustered one basket in the opening 12 minutes of the second half and shot a season-worst 32.8 percent in a 68-55 defeat against Green Bay on Saturday. “We just got outplayed, outhustled, outrebounded,” Miami guard Sheldon McClellan told reporters after the loss.
UC Santa Barbara at Southern Methodist 8:00 PM ET
SMU attempts to repeat a dominating rebounding performance when it hosts UC Santa Barbara on Monday. The Mustangs have had an edge on the inside this season, and coach Larry Brown was excited after his team held previously undefeated Wyoming to 16 rebounds Friday. "The first seven games prior to (Wyoming), we hadn't been the rebounding team we're capable of being," Brown told the media after the game. "That was something we've been preaching about all year."
Brown at Providence 9:00 PM ET
The excitement Providence generated with its 6-0 start to the season is wearing off in a hurry. The Friars hope to rebound from back-to-back losses when they host Brown on Monday night. Providence's fast start to the season included neutral-court victories against Florida State and Notre Dame, but a 20-point loss to No. 1 Kentucky and a nine-point defeat against a mediocre Boston College team have the Friars searching for answers.
North Dakota at Minnesota 9:00 PM ET
Minnesota will try for a season-long fourth straight victory when it hosts North Dakota in a nonconference game Monday night. The Golden Gophers won three in a row last month but then fell to St. John’s before beginning their latest winning streak. They started slow against Western Carolina on Friday night, but climbed on the back of DeAndre Mathieu in the second half and rolled to an 84-64 victory, their second straight game scoring 84 points.
