Texas blew a 16-point lead and lost 85-78 in overtime to top-ranked Duke on Friday while No. 17 Gonzaga took seventh-ranked Florida to double overtime before losing a 111-105 thriller.

Nebraska took out its frustrations after a disappointing first-round loss and looks to grab fifth place in the AdvoCare Invitational when it takes on Long Beach State on Sunday in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Cornhuskers lost by nine to Central Florida on Thursday before shooting 56.7 percent from the field while routing Marist 84-59 one day later in the consolation round.

Mississippi State looks to improve to 5-0 when it hosts Jacksonville State in a non-conference contest on Sunday. The Bulldogs are in the middle of an eight-game homestand to begin the season, while the Gamecocks have won two straight and are coming off a victory over Chattanooga to win the Cayman Islands Classic - Chattanooga Bracket on Tuesday.

It didn't take long for Oklahoma State senior guard Jeffrey Carroll to get back to last year's form. The Big 12's leading returning scorer struggled in his debut but bounced back with a career-high 29 points Tuesday for the Cowboys, who host Houston Baptist on Sunday.

Two teams looking to bounce back from losses to highly ranked opponents meet Sunday as Arkansas faces Connecticut in the third-place game of the PK80 Invitational’s Victory Bracket in Portland. Arkansas allowed 50 points in the second half of Friday’s 87-68 loss to No. 9 North Carolina while UConn was held to 35 percent shooting in a 77-57 loss to fifth-ranked Michigan State.

Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann will face a familiar foe when the Buckeyes meet Butler in the fifth place game at the PK80 Tournament on Sunday in Portland, Ore. Holtmann compiled a 70-31 record with the Bulldogs, including three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, before bolting for Ohio State this past summer and hopes his acrimonious exit doesn't overshadow the Buckeyes' impressive start to the season following a 79-71 victory over Stanford on Friday.

South Florida hopes to keep building momentum when it hosts Eastern Michigan on Sunday to complete a three-game homestand. The Bulls enter the contest on their first two-game winning streak in nearly a full year.

Michigan returns home to face UC Riverside on Sunday after spending the week in Hawaii at the Maui Invitational. The Wolverines blew a nine-point lead in the 77-75 setback to LSU in their tournament opener before bouncing back with victories over Division II outfit Chaminade (102-64) and VCU (68-60) to finish in fifth place and hope to post their first three-game winning streak of the season.

Struggling East Carolina begins a stretch of six straight home games when it hosts North Carolina A&T on Sunday. The Pirates limp back to Greenville, N.C., from their first road test of the season, where they were hammered at Rutgers.

Air Force at Colorado 4:00 PM ET

Colorado is riding high off its Paradise Jam championship and tries for its sixth straight victory to open the season when it hosts Air Force on Sunday. The Buffaloes defeated Mercer in the title game 79-70 on Nov. 19 behind 25 points and eight rebounds from senior guard George King, who is a key cog in a Colorado unit that has quickly meshed despite having 10 underclassmen on its 15-man roster.

Temple at La Salle 5:00 PM ET

After winning the Charleston Classic, Temple returns to more familiar terrain Sunday when it visits La Salle in Big 5 action. The Big 5 features an annual round-robin of matchups between five schools located in the Philadelphia area, and the Owls have defeated the Explorers in 19 of the last 23 meetings.

St. Mary's at Georgia 5:00 PM ET

No. 21 Saint Mary’s continues to fill up the basket with strong accuracy rates from the field (52.2 percent), 3-point range (44.0) and the free throw stripe (81.3). But veteran coach Randy Bennett isn’t happy with the Gaels’ corresponding effort on the other end of the floor and is looking for an improved defensive showing Sunday when his team faces Georgia

Illinois-Chicago at Kentucky 6:00 PM ET

Kentucky is still waiting for its offense to come around, but the defense has been steady through the season's first two weeks. The eighth-ranked Wildcats have not allowed more than 69 points yet and hope to maintain that streak with another solid defensive effort against visiting Illinois-Chicago on Sunday.

Thompson came into the event just 1-for-15 from 3-point range and has connected on six of his 15 attempts behind the arc the last two games in Florida while averaging 23 points in a pair of crushing five-point losses.

Portland at DePaul 7:00 PM ET

DePaul's early schedule hasn't been conducive for a school hoping to end a streak of 10 consecutive losing seasons, although its most recent loss could offer some hope that things are about to get better. The Blue Demons look to snap a three-game losing streak Sunday when they meet Portland in the seventh-place game of the PK80 Invitational Victory Bracket in Portland, Ore.

UC Davis at Washington 8:00 PM ET

Washington avoided a third straight loss - just barely - and will try to gain some more momentum leading up to a challenging December stretch when it hosts UC Davis on Sunday. Following consecutive setbacks against Providence and Virginia Tech in the 2K Sports Classic in New York, the Huskies returned to open a four-game homestand with an 89-84 win over Seattle on Friday.

North Carolina at Michigan St 8:30 PM ET

After making a cameo appearance in Michigan State’s last game, the fifth-ranked Spartans are hoping for an extended run from star sophomore Miles Bridges on Sunday. Bridges is expected to be close to full strength as the Spartans take on No. 9 North Carolina in the championship game of the Victory Bracket of the PK80 Invitational in Portland.

Missouri at West Virginia 9:30 PM ET

Missouri can go a long way toward recovering from the loss of their prize recruit to injury by taking home a tournament title when they face 20th-ranked West Virginia on Sunday in the championship game of the AdvoCare Invitational in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Tigers will likely be without highly-touted freshman Michael Porter Jr. for the season due to a back injury, but have looked like a dangerous team without him this week.

Portland St. at Stanford 9:30 PM ET

It has been a difficult week for Stanford, which plays Portland State on Sunday in the seventh-place game of the Phil Knight Invitational in Portland, Ore., looking to move past losses to No. 9 North Carolina, No. 7 Florida and Ohio State. The Cardinal led the Buckeyes by 10 points in the first half of Friday’s 79-71 defeat, but despite a 10-point second-half deficit battled back to get within five points in the final minute.

Texas A&M at Southern California 10:00 PM ET

Few teams have logged as many frequent flyer miles this season as Texas A&M, which opened its season in Germany and also played in the Progressive Legends Classic in Brooklyn, N.Y. Now the 19th-ranked Aggies hit the road again, this time flying to the West Coast for a Sunday night matchup with No. 10 USC.

Duke at Florida 10:30 PM ET

Duke freshman star Marvin Bagley III looks to add to his already impressive highlight reel Sunday as the top-ranked Blue Devils face No. 7 Florida in the championship game of the PK80 Invitational’s Motion Bracket in Portland. Bagley had a career-high 34 points and added 15 rebounds in Friday’s 85-78 overtime win over Texas while Florida advanced with a thrilling 111-105 double overtime win over No. 17 Gonzaga.

Washington St. at San Diego St. 11:59 PM ET

The Pac-12 has had a history of success in the Wooden Legacy tournament, winning three of the last five championships and four of 10 overall. Washington State will try to add to that Sunday night when it faces San Diego State in the title game in Fullerton, Calif.
