Gonzaga saw its six-year reign in the West Coast Conference Tournament end last March and the top-seeded Bulldogs aim to start another streak as they begin play in the semifinals Monday against fifth seed San Francisco at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Second-ranked Gonzaga will play for the first time in nine days after winning 21 of its last 22 games, including an 86-76 victory over Saint Mary’s on Feb. 29, and goes for its 19th straight win over USF.

Fifteenth-ranked BYU and Saint Mary's have already played a couple nailbiters this season, so their West Coast Conference Tournament semifinal meeting in Las Vegas on Monday should provide more of the same. The second-seeded Cougars, who have won nine straight, received a bye into the semifinals and haven't played since Feb. 29 while the No. 3 seed Gaels are coming off an 89-82 double-overtime victory over Pepperdine in Saturday's quarterfinals.
