No. 21 Houston lost a chance to control its destiny in the American Athletic Conference race earlier this week, meaning it will need a victory over visiting Memphis on Sunday along with some help to gain a share of the title. The Cougars, who are 8-0 at home in league play, have lost three of their last five overall to fall one game behind league leader Tulsa after being outscored by 13 in the second half of Thursday’s 77-71 loss at Connecticut.

Ninth-ranked Maryland looks to clinch at least a share of the Big Ten regular-season championship when it hosts Michigan on Sunday. The Terrapins missed two opportunities to claim the title following back-to-back losses, including a 78-67 setback to Rutgers on Tuesday, and they hope to finally seal the deal by taking down Michigan for the first time in over three years.

Teams heading in opposite directions meet Sunday when Tulane hosts Connecticut in the American Athletic Conference regular-season finale for both teams. UConn has won four straight for the first time in league play since the 2016-17 season following Thursday's 77-71 win over No. 21 Houston, while the Green Wave have lost 11 of their last 13.

Tulsa is on the verge of winning the American Athletic Conference for the first time since joining the league six years ago, but Frank Haith's team is far from guaranteed anything when it comes to a potential NCAA Tournament berth. The Golden Hurricane will get their chance to pick up a quality win and clinch their first outright conference title since 1999-2000 on Sunday when they pay a visit to Wichita State.
Ohio St. at Michigan St 4:30 PM ET
No. 17 Michigan State tries to earn a share of the Big Ten regular-season title when it hosts No. 19 Ohio State on Sunday. The Spartans, winners of four straight, are a half-game behind Wisconsin and tied with Maryland entering this game while the Buckeyes have won four straight, including a home victory over No. 22 Illinois on Thursday.
Iowa at Illinois 7:00 PM ET
No. 23 Illinois looks to head into the Big Ten Tournament on a positive note after it hosts 18th-ranked Iowa on Sunday. The Fighting Illini had their four-game winning streak snapped following a 71-63 loss to No. 19 Ohio State on Thursday, but they've already won more conference games since 2004-05 squad that went 15-1 and went to the NCAA finals.
