Preview Roundups
February 27, 2020
Wisconsin at Michigan 7:00 PM ET
No. 22 Michigan looks to continue its late charge towards a top-four finish in the Big Ten when it hosts Wisconsin on Thursday. The Wolverines have won five consecutive games, including a 71-63 road victory over Purdue on Sunday, to climb back into the Top 25 after a five-week absence, and they hope to reach 10 conference victories for the fifth straight season.
Indiana at Purdue 7:00 PM ET
Riding its longest losing streak in six years, Purdue looks to bolster its shaky postseason chances and sweep the season series when Indiana visits Thursday. The Boilermakers have lost four straight games, their longest skid since finishing the 2013-14 regular season with six straight losses before losing in the first round of the Big Ten conference tournament.
Temple at Wichita St. 8:00 PM ET
Wichita State has a bit of revenge on its mind Thursday when it hosts Temple in American Athletic Conference play. The Shockers fell at Temple by 12 points earlier this season, and their inconsistent run through conference play continued with a loss at Cincinnati the last time out.
Illinois at Northwestern 8:00 PM ET
Illinois looks to stay in the hunt for its first Big Ten regular-season title since 2005 when it visits Northwestern on Thursday. The Fighting Illini have won back-to-back contests, including a 71-59 victory against Nebraska to move within two games of eighth-ranked Maryland at the top of the conference standings, and they hope to stay within striking distance by beating the Wildcats for the fourth consecutive time.
Ohio St. at Nebraska 9:00 PM ET
Ohio State's chances to move above .500 in the Big Ten for the first time this season appear to be well within reach Thursday night against floundering Nebraska, but the No. 23 Buckeyes will have to do it without a key inside player. Forward Kyle Young will miss the road game after suffering a high ankle sprain during Ohio State's win over eighth-ranked Maryland on Sunday.
Colorado at California 9:00 PM ET

In a three-way tie for second, No. 21 Colorado is part of the tightest conference race in the nation with only one game separating the Pac-12’s top five teams. The Buffaloes will try to keep pace Thursday night when they tip off a two-game Bay Area road swing with a game at slumping California.

San Diego at Gonzaga 9:00 PM ET
Fourth-ranked Gonzaga moves on from a rare loss when it hosts San Diego in West Coast Conference play on Thursday. The Bulldogs had their 19-game winning streak halted by BYU last Saturday but can clinch the WCC regular-season crown by beating the Toreros for the 12th straight time and 23rd in the past 24 matchups.
Arizona at Southern California 10:00 PM ET
After dropping five of its last seven games, USC enters the home stretch of Pac-12 play in sixth place and squarely on the bubble for an NCAA Tournament bid. The Trojans, who are 11-2 at home this season, play their final three regular-season games at the Galen Center, beginning with Thursday night's contest against No. 24 Arizona.
Oregon St. at Oregon 11:00 PM ET
Oregon’s frontcourt should receive a welcome boost Thursday when the 16th-ranked Ducks host rival Oregon State in the 354th edition of the Civil War. Freshman center N’Faly Dante is set to return after missing nine games due to a left knee injury but figures to be limited against the Beavers, who have lost three in a row and have fallen into a tie for 10th place in the Pac-12.
Arizona State at UCLA 11:00 PM ET
Arizona State heads into this Thursday night's Pac-12 game at red-hot UCLA in sole possession of first place, the first time the Sun Devils have led the league this late in the season since joining the conference in 1978-79. But with one game only separating the top five teams in the league, Bobby Hurley's squad still has plenty of heavy lifting to do to claim the program's first regular-season conference title since 1974-75 when they won the Western Athletic Conference.
