Preview Roundups
February 20, 2020
Ohio St. at Iowa 7:00 PM ET
Ohio State and Iowa face off for the only time this season Thursday night in a Big Ten matchup of Top 25 teams in Iowa City. The No. 24 Buckeyes and 20th-ranked Hawkeyes have met only five times in history when both were ranked, the last time in 2014 when Ohio State won at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Connecticut at Temple 7:00 PM ET
The turnaround to Connecticut's season began with a matchup against Temple. The Huskies won that game to ignite a 4-2 record in their last six outings and will try to improve that mark Thursday when they visit the Owls for an American Athletic Conference rematch.
South Florida at Wichita St. 7:00 PM ET
Wichita State rebounded from a three-game losing streak with run-away wins in its last two contests and looks to ride that wave when South Florida visits for an American Athletic Conference matchup Thursday night. The Shockers won by 15 at Central Florida before draining 13 shots from 3-point range and limiting Tulane to 34.5 percent from the field in an 82-57 rout Sunday that left them one shy of their 11th straight, 20-win season.
Oregon St. at Arizona 8:00 PM ET
No. 21 Arizona is among four teams at the top of the Pac-12 conference with only four losses heading into the final three weeks of the regular season. The Wildcats, who begin the week tied with in-state rival Arizona State for third place a half-game behind co-leaders Colorado and Oregon, play four of their final six games at home beginning with Thursday night's contest with Oregon State.
Michigan St at Nebraska 8:30 PM ET
No. 25 Michigan State looks to bounce back from a gut-wrenching loss when it travels to face Nebraska for a Big Ten contest Thursday. The Spartans are coming off a 67-60 home defeat against No. 7 Maryland on Saturday in which they led by seven with 3:24 to play but didn't score again while the Cornhuskers have dropped 10 in a row, including an 81-64 loss to visiting Wisconsin on Saturday.
Oregon at Arizona State 9:00 PM ET
Arizona State has positioned itself firmly in the Pac-12 title race discussion thanks to a league-best five-game winning streak that included a road sweep of the Bay Area schools last weekend. The Sun Devils, tied with in-state rival Arizona for third place just a half-game out of first, return home to host conference co-leader and 16th-ranked Oregon on Thursday.
Southern California at Colorado 9:00 PM ET

USC and No. 17 Colorado are part of the logjam atop the Pac-12 standings as six teams are within one game of the conference lead with three weeks remaining in the regular season. The Trojans and Buffaloes also go head-to-head Thursday night as they close out their season series with a matchup in Boulder.

Stanford at Washington 10:00 PM ET
Stanford is trending in the wrong direction with seven losses in its last eight games, but there’s still reason to believe the Cardinal could surprise in next month’s Pac-12 Tournament. Stanford looks to rediscover its early-season form, starting Thursday with a visit to struggling Washington, which is riding an eight-game losing streak.
UCLA at Utah 10:30 PM ET

Entering the second half of February, only one game currently separates the top six teams in the Pac-12 standings. And UCLA is right in the mix, sitting in a tie for fifth, as it tips off a key two-game road trip Thursday night with a date at Utah.

San Francisco at Gonzaga 11:00 PM ET
Second-ranked Gonzaga doesn't face many close games but Thursday's West Coast Conference rematch against visiting San Francisco will certainly prompt reminders of the first contest this season. The Dons moved ahead by a point with 1:55 left in the Feb. 1 matchup before the Bulldogs closed with an 8-3 push to escape with an 83-79 road victory.
