Preview Roundups
February 13, 2020
Wichita St. at Central Florida 7:00 PM ET
Wichita State has picked an awful time to go into a slump and should have plenty of incentive heading into a visit to Central Florida for an American Athletic Conference matchup Thursday night. After opening 15-1 - 3-0 in league play - the Shockers have dropped five of seven and three straight - two last-possession setbacks and then an embarrassing 76-43 loss at No. 19 Houston on Sunday.
Memphis at Cincinnati 7:00 PM ET
A pair of American Athletic Conference teams in need of resume boosters meet Thursday when Memphis visits Cincinnati. Both teams had winning streaks snapped with narrow losses over the weekend, which left the Bearcats a game out of first place in the conference and Memphis tied for fourth - 2 1/2 back of AAC-leading Houston entering Wednesday.
Iowa at Indiana 8:00 PM ET
No. 17 Iowa looks to stay in the hunt for its first Big Ten regular-season championship since 1979 when it visits Indiana on Thursday. The Hawkeyes have won seven of their last nine contests, including a 96-72 rout of Nebraska on Saturday, to move within two games of ninth-ranked Maryland at the top of the conference standings, and they hope to keep pace by knocking off the Hoosiers for the third consecutive time in the rivalry.
Washington at Southern California 9:00 PM ET
The teams with the two longest losing streaks in the Pac-12 collide on Thursday night when USC, losers of three straight, hosts Washington, which has dropped six in a row. The Trojans, who are still tied with crosstown rival UCLA for fifth place in a very tight Pac-12 race, will retire the No. 10 jersey of DeMar DeRozan at halftime.
Colorado at Oregon 9:00 PM ET

No. 15 Colorado has leap-frogged No. 18 Oregon in the coaches’ poll, in the NET rankings and in the Pac-12 standings where the Buffaloes currently stand alone in first place. The Ducks, though, have a prime chance to pull even Thursday night when they host Colorado in a nationally-televised showdown.

Utah at Oregon St. 9:00 PM ET

Utah and Oregon State reside in the lower half of the Pac-12 standings, but both have picked things up of late. The Runnin’ Utes and Beavers will match that momentum Thursday night when they square off in Corvallis, Ore.

Arizona State at Stanford 11:00 PM ET
Arizona State looks to continue its ascent in the Pac-12 standings when it goes after a fourth straight victory Thursday night at struggling Stanford. Junior Remy Martin’s basket with 19 seconds remaining gave the Sun Devils a 66-64 victory over USC at home Saturday for their fifth win in six contests and they sit in a third-place tie with rival Arizona in the Pac-12, just 1 1/2 games behind first-place Colorado.
Washington St. at UCLA 11:00 PM ET
It's been a roller-coaster start to the Mick Cronin era at UCLA where the Bruins still remain in title contention in a loaded Pac-12 race despite compiling an overall record of just 13-11. The Bruins, who at 6-5 begin the week two games behind first-place Colorado, play four of their next six games at Pauley Pavilion, starting with Thursday night's contest against Washington State.
