Xavier rolls into Indianapolis Wednesday night with a three-game winning streak and a chance to pull even with No. 20 Butler in the middle of the Big East standings. The Musketeers began the month near the bottom of the conference but trail fifth-place Butler and Providence by one game.

Seton Hall continues to rack up a bunch of firsts as it heads into the homestretch of the regular season, beginning with Wednesday's Big East showdown against visiting Creighton. The 10th-ranked Pirates, who have won two straight and four of the last five games against the No. 21 Bluejays, won at No. 16 Villanova for the first time since 1994, giving them their first 10-1 start in conference.

South Carolina coach Frank Martin isn’t too concerned with NCAA tournament projections as his team heads into Wednesday’s road matchup with Georgia seeking to continue building its postseason resume. The Gamecocks used 19 points from redshirt freshman guard Jermaine Couisnard and 18 from sophomore guard AJ Lawson to beat Texas A&M 74-54 on Saturday, giving South Carolina six victories in its past eight SEC games after an 0-2 start in league play.

Auburn seeks a bit of revenge and a seventh consecutive victory overall when the 11th-ranked Tigers host rival Alabama on Wednesday night for an SEC battle. Auburn suffered its first loss of the season 83-64 at Alabama on Jan. 15, but the Tigers have strung together six straight wins after rallying from 14 points down in the second half to edge LSU 91-90 in overtime Saturday.
Rutgers at Ohio St. 7:00 PM ET
Now that Rutgers has clinched its first winning season in 14 years, the Scarlet Knights are hoping to keep the momentum going Wednesday night in a Big Ten game at Ohio State. But road wins have been few and far between for Rutgers, which is 1-7 away from home.

The reigning Big 12 Player of the Week will look for a repeat against No. 14 West Virginia when the Jayhawks seek a ninth straight victory as they visit the WVU Coliseum on Wednesday.

Boston College heads south to Miami on Wednesday looking to end its seven-game losing streak at the Hurricanes' Watsco Center. The Eagles have won three of their last five after defeating Virginia Tech 77-73 in overtime while Miami looks to bounce back from a 99-81 loss to rival Florida State and at the same time, end a three-game skid.
Louisville at Georgia Tech 8:00 PM ET
Fifth-ranked Louisville opened 2020 with a loss but hasn’t looked back since, bringing a 10-game winning streak into Wednesday’s visit to Georgia Tech and looking to improve to 7-0 on the road in ACC play. The Cardinals snapped a nine-game losing streak to Virginia with Saturday’s 80-73 home victory, and junior forward Jordan Nwora continued his stellar season as the conference’s leading scorer finished with 22 points and seven rebounds.

Temple gets a chance to avenge one of its worst performances of the season Wednesday when it visits Tulane in American Athletic Conference action. The Green Wave pounded the Owls in Philadelphia 65-51 in mid-January - one of only two conference victories so far for Tulane, which sits in last place in the league.

Tulsa’s chances at winning the American Athletic Conference regular-season title took a massive hit last week, losing two straight games against bottom-tier teams on the heels of a six-game winning streak. The Golden Hurricane will look to stay in the NCAA Tournament conversation Wednesday when they host East Carolina, a team they have beaten the last six meetings.

What Villanova hoped would be its latest memorable season is falling apart in a hurry. The No. 16 Wildcats hope to avoid a fourth straight Big East loss Wednesday when they host 22nd-ranked Marquette, whose season is heading in the opposite direction.

Providence has had to run a gauntlet of sorts since squeezing out a five-point win over St. John's last month, playing five consecutive ranked opponents for only the third time in school history. After going 2-3 during that rugged stretch, the Friars fell at Xavier on Saturday for its fourth defeat in six games entering Wednesday's rematch at St. John's.

Florida and Texas A&M will look to bounce back Wednesday night when they meet up on the Aggies' homecourt. Both schools come off lopsided road losses, with the Gators succumbing to Ole Miss 68-51 and Texas A&M falling to South Carolina 74-54.

The Cougars have won seven of their last eight contests to take a one-game lead in the AAC and comes to the Sunshine State after a 76-43 rout against Wichita State on Sunday.

Michigan looks to build off one of its best wins of the season when it visits Northwestern in Big Ten play on Wednesday. The Wolverines knocked off then No. 14 Michigan State 77-68 on Sunday to register their third win in their last four games after dropping five of their previous six contests, and they hope to beat the Wildcats for the third consecutive time.

Oklahoma is coming off a resume-building win and has an opportunity for another this Saturday at Kansas. The Sooners will try to avoid looking too far ahead to the clash with the Jayhawks when they host Iowa State for a Big 12 matchup on Wednesday.
