Penn St. at Purdue 6:30 PM ET
No. 13 Penn State looks to extend its longest winning streak in Big Ten play since it joined the conference in 1992-93 when it visits Purdue on Tuesday. The Nittany Lions have won six consecutive games, including a 73-67 victory over Minnesota on Saturday, to move within one game of ninth-ranked Maryland at the top of the conference standings, and they hope to stay in the hunt for their first Big Ten regular-season championship by knocking off the Boilermakers for the first time since 2014.
NC State at Syracuse 7:00 PM ET
Two teams coming off much-needed wins square off Tuesday when Syracuse hosts North Carolina State in ACC action. The Orange snapped a two-game skid with a two-point win over Wake Forest in their last contest, while the Wolfpack avoided a fourth straight loss by topping Miami.
Kentucky at Vanderbilt 7:00 PM ET
No. 12 Kentucky has several high-profile players, but it was a seldom-used freshman who made the biggest difference in Saturday's win over Tennessee. The Wildcats, tied for the SEC lead with Auburn and LSU, seek a seventh win in eight games when they travel to Vanderbilt on Tuesday.
Mississippi State at Mississippi 7:00 PM ET
Mississippi State looks to continue its charge up the SEC standings when it visits rival Ole Miss on Tuesday. Following their 0-3 start in league action, the Bulldogs have won six of seven conference games, the latest an 80-70 triumph over last-place Vanderbilt on Saturday.
Arkansas at Tennessee 7:00 PM ET
Tennessee looks to begin making a move toward the top third of the SEC when it takes on two other teams populating the middle this week, starting with a visit from Arkansas on Tuesday night. The Volunteers have lost four of their last five games to fall into a three-way tie for seventh in the conference, one game ahead of Arkansas, after dropping a 77-64 decision against Kentucky at home Saturday.
Rhode Island at Dayton 7:30 PM ET
Sixth-ranked Dayton's game against visiting Rhode Island on Tuesday is big enough with a pair of white-hot teams battling for first place in the Atlantic 10, but a sibling rivalry adds to the drama. The Flyers and national player of the year candidate Obi Toppin have won 12 in a row and lead the Rams - winners of 10 straight - and freshman Jacob Toppin by one-half game in the conference standings, so let the trash talking begin.
North Carolina at Wake Forest 8:00 PM ET
A pair of teams trying to stay out of the basement in the ACC meet Tuesday when North Carolina carries a three-game losing streak into a matchup with host Wake Forest. The Tar Heels are in unfamiliar territory as they are in danger of finishing with a losing record for just the second time since 1962, although they've shown glimpses of improvement in narrow losses to top 10 teams their last two times out.
Nebraska at Maryland 8:30 PM ET
No. 9 Maryland looks to become the first team to reach 10 wins in Big Ten play when it hosts Nebraska on Tuesday. The red-hot Terrapins have won six straight games, including a 75-66 road victory over 23rd-ranked Illinois on Friday, to take sole possession of first place in the conference standings, and they hope to separate themselves from the chasing pack by improving to 14-0 at home for the first time since the 1979-80 season.
Notre Dame at Virginia 9:00 PM ET
Virginia and Notre Dame engaged in a bit of role reversal over the weekend, as the defensive-minded Cavaliers lost despite a season-best offensive output while the Fighting Irish prevailed despite getting held 15 points below their season scoring average. Notre Dame will likely have to find a way to win another low-scoring battle Tuesday when it travels to Virginia to halt the Cavaliers' dominance in the series.
Missouri at Louisiana State 9:00 PM ET
Last week was the toughest week for LSU, as the Tigers dropped two conference games, dropped out of the national rankings and find their way in a three-way tie for the SEC lead with Kentucky and Auburn. LSU looks to get back to work of winning the regular-season title Tuesday when it travels to play Missouri.
Michigan St at Illinois 9:00 PM ET
Two teams trying to stay in the hunt for the Big Ten title square off Tuesday when No. 25 Michigan State visits No. 23 Illinois. The Spartans have dropped three straight, including a 77-68 decision Saturday at Michigan, to fall into a fourth-place tie in the league standings, while the Illini are on a two-game losing streak after a 75-66 home setback against Maryland on Friday.
Oklahoma State at Kansas State 9:00 PM ET
The 1993 movie Groundhog Day was about a television weatherman who relives the same day over and over again; unfortunately for Kansas State coach Bruce Weber, he is starting to get the feeling his team is starring in the sequel. The Wildcats attempt to snap out of a prolonged stretch of slow starts in games and avoid falling into a last-place tie with Oklahoma State in the Big 12 on Tuesday when they host the Cowboys.
New Mexico at San Diego St. 11:00 PM ET
KJ Feagin took longer than expected to find his role on a deep San Diego State roster, but the Santa Clara transfer has clearly settled in over the past few weeks. Feagin has scored 54 points over his last three games for the fourth-ranked Aztecs, who look to maintain their perfect record on Tuesday against visiting New Mexico.
