Preview Roundups

Butler at Marquette 12:00 PM ET
Butler's balanced scoring and tenacious defense have made it less important for Kamar Baldwin to carry the offense in 2019-20, but the Big East has been reminded twice in recent weeks that he can flip the switch at a moment's notice. The senior guard torched Marquette for a season high-tying 31 points just over two weeks ago, and he'll set his sights on another explosive performance Sunday when the 19th-ranked Bulldogs go for a regular-season sweep of the host Golden Eagles.
Cincinnati at Connecticut 12:00 PM ET
Following a pair of tight victories, Cincinnati hopes for a more relaxing win Sunday when it visits Connecticut in American Athletic Conference action. The Bearcats have won their last two games by a combined three points and move on to face a Huskies team that is seeking its third win in four tries.
Ohio St. at Wisconsin 1:00 PM ET
Wisconsin can complete a regular-season sweep of Ohio State when the teams get together for a Big Ten rematch Sunday in Madison. The Badgers have struggled to find consistency after leaving Columbus last month with a rare conference road win while the Buckeyes were in the midst of a January slump.
Tulsa at Central Florida 2:00 PM ET
Tulsa’s six-game winning streak came to an abrupt halt last time out and the Golden Hurricane could be without their leading scorer when they visit Central Florida on Sunday afternoon for an American Athletic Conference battle. Tulsa rose to first place in the league with its impressive winning streak, but allowed 51.9 percent shooting in a 72-56 loss to Connecticut at home Thursday as junior guard Brandon Rachal (13.9 points) went down with an ankle injury.
Wichita St. at Houston 3:00 PM ET
After a pair of losses by a combined four points, things won’t get easier for Wichita State on Sunday when it visits a 25th-ranked Houston squad that is 43-3 at home over the last three seasons. The Shockers lost on a buzzer-beating triple against Tulsa last week before Cincinnati guard Jarron Cumberland’s three-point play with 3.5 seconds remaining was the difference Thursday in an 80-79 setback to the Bearcats.
Notre Dame at Clemson 6:00 PM ET
Halfway through the conference season, Notre Dame and Clemson certainly are heading in different directions. The Fighting Irish visit the Tigers on Sunday in a matchup of two middle-of-the-pack teams in the ACC.
Washington at Washington St. 6:00 PM ET

More than bragging rights are on the line Sunday night in the first installment of the basketball Apple Cup. Reeling Washington desperately needs a win as it lugs a five-game losing streak across the state to visit rival Washington State.

Northwestern at Rutgers 6:30 PM ET
Rutgers may be the unlikeliest team in recent memory to boast a perfect record at home this late into the season, and the Scarlet Knights' ability to remain undefeated in Piscataway over the next two weeks will be critical to their chances to stay in the thick of the Big Ten race. Hoping to avoid a three-game skid for the first time this season, Rutgers begins a critical stretch of games Sunday when it hosts Northwestern.
