February 07, 2017
Maryland at Penn St. 6:00 PM ET
Maryland lost ground in the Big Ten race when a seven-game winning streak was halted and the No. 22 Terrapins look to bounce back as they visit Penn State on Tuesday. Maryland's 73-72 loss to Purdue on Saturday dropped it one game behind Wisconsin in the conference race and they now tackle the Nittany Lions, who have dropped five of their last six games.
Alabama at South Carolina 6:30 PM ET
It has been more than 10 years since No. 16 South Carolina put together back-to-back 20-win seasons and, thanks to a hot start from head coach Frank Martin's Gamecocks, they have a shot at ending that drought with plenty of season left as they entertain Alabama on Tuesday. South Carolina sits alone atop the SEC standings on the strength of a four-game winning streak, while the Crimson Tide are reeling heading into the only meeting of the season between the conference foes.
Florida at Georgia 7:00 PM ET
No. 17 Florida showed Saturday why it may be the class of the SEC this season, and looks to build off a blowout victory over 12th-ranked Kentucky when it travels to Georgia on Tuesday. The Gators sprinted past the Wildcats and pulled within one game of first place in the conference by shooting 66.7 percent in the second half, dominating the backboards 54-29 and holding Kentucky 25 points below its season average in the 88-66 rout.
Louisiana State at Kentucky 7:00 PM ET
Kentucky got demolished in its last game and that might not be great news for struggling LSU when it visits the No. 12 Wildcats in SEC play on Tuesday. Florida rolled to an 88-66 victory over Kentucky on Saturday and the Wildcats set a season low for fewest points and were outrebounded 54-29 while being pummeled by the Gators.
Wake Forest at Notre Dame 7:00 PM ET
One team needs a resume-building victory and the other will take any kind of win when Wake Forest visits Notre Dame on Tuesday night in a key ACC clash. Wake Forest won two straight and four of the last six, but could use a victory over a ranked team to enhance its NCAA Tournament hopes while the No. 24 Fighting Irish have dropped four consecutive games.
Tulsa at Memphis 7:00 PM ET
Memphis coach Tubby Smith was critical of his team following a loss at Central Florida on Saturday, calling it the most frustrating game of the season for a squad trying to build a resume for March. Smith will see if his words have any impact when the Tigers host Tulsa on Tuesday in a big American Athletic Conference matchup.
Georgetown at Villanova 7:00 PM ET
There was a time three decades ago when Georgetown was the most feared team in the nation, but these days, No. 2 Villanova is the current force in college hoops. The defending champion Wildcats host the Hoyas on Tuesday as they continue their march toward a top seed in the Big East tournament and potentially in the NCAA Tournament, as well.
Tusculum at Georgia Tech 7:30 PM ET
Coming off a pair of road losses that followed two upset victories over ranked teams, Georgia Tech takes a break from ACC play when it hosts Division II's Tusculum on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets, who have exceeded expectations in Josh Pastner's first season as coach, lost 81-69 on Saturday at Wake Forest, shooting only 35.7 percent and playing much of the game with standout center Ben Lammers in foul trouble.
Illinois at Northwestern 8:00 PM ET
Scottie Lindsey may have been the only Northwestern player battling the flu last week, but the rest of his teammates probably weren't feeling much better than he was after their last performance. With their leading scorer expected to be back in the fold, the Wildcats attempt to bounce back from their first blowout loss of the season Tuesday when they host struggling Illinois.
Syracuse at Clemson 8:00 PM ET
Syracuse appears to have risen from the dead, but it still faces a long road to reach the NCAA Tournament. The Orange, coming off a huge victory, visit struggling Clemson on Tuesday in an ACC matchup.
Vanderbilt at Arkansas 8:30 PM ET
Following a costly loss to cellar-dwelling Missouri, Arkansas looks to keep its NCAA Tournament hopes alive with a bounce-back effort Tuesday against visiting Vanderbilt. The Razorbacks dropped into a tie for fourth in the SEC with Saturday’s 83-78 loss to Missouri as the Tigers ended a 13-game losing streak.
Mississippi St. at Auburn 9:00 PM ET

Two of the nation’s youngest teams - and two struggling to achieve consistency - square off Tuesday, when Auburn hosts Mississippi State for an SEC matchup. Auburn has won two of its last three contests after completing a season sweep of rival Alabama on Saturday and hopes to continue surging toward the postseason.

Iowa St. at Texas 9:00 PM ET
Iowa State will try to build on one of the biggest wins in school history when it continues Big 12 play at Texas on Tuesday night. The Cyclones rallied from a 15-point deficit to upset then No. 2-ranked Kansas, 92-89, in overtime on Saturday, snapping the Jayhawks' 51-game win streak at famed Allen Fieldhouse in the process.
Michigan St at Michigan 9:00 PM ET
Michigan State looks to beat Michigan for the second time in 10 days when it makes the short trip to Ann Arbor to battle the Wolverines on Tuesday. The Spartans held off Michigan 70-62 on Jan. 29 before downing Nebraska 72-61 on Tuesday to notch back-to-back wins for the first time in nearly a month, and they hope to continue their recent dominance of their instate rival by knocking off the Wolverines for the sixth straight time.
Texas Tech at Texas Christian 9:00 PM ET
TCU looks to extend its winning streak to three games when it hosts Texas Tech in a Big 12 contest on Tuesday. The Horned Frogs already have set a school record for conference wins with five, while the Red Raiders have won two of their last three contests.
Butler at Marquette 9:00 PM ET
Marquette was able to stop an ill-timed two-game losing streak last time out, and now No. 21 Butler will try to do the same when it visits the Golden Eagles for a Big East affair Tuesday night. After winning seven of eight to rise to the top of the Big East, the Bulldogs suffered consecutive home losses to Georgetown and Creighton, and coach Chris Holtmann seems to be searching for some leadership.
