North Carolina at Louisville 7:00 PM ET
Top-ranked North Carolina is threatening to eliminate any suspense in regards to winning the regular-season ACC crown with its best start in league play since 2000-01. The Tar Heels experienced no shortage of drama in three encounters with Louisville last season, however, which is something the 14th-ranked Cardinals hope to create at home Monday, two days after suffering their most lopsided defeat in the six-year history of the KFC Yum! Center.
Southern Methodist at Houston 8:00 PM ET
Less than two weeks after getting a quality battle from Houston, SMU looks to defeat the host Cougars again Monday when the American Athletic Conference rivals square off. The Mustangs improved to 18-0 with a win over Houston on Jan. 19, but they followed up that victory with a loss to Temple five days later before rebounding to defeat Memphis on Saturday.
Texas at Baylor 9:00 PM ET
Texas, which has clearly adapted to coach Shaka Smart’s “havoc” style of aggressive defense over the past few weeks, looks to further disrupt the Big 12 race Monday as the Longhorns visit 18th-ranked Baylor. The Bears are tied for the league lead with Oklahoma and West Virginia but figure to be tested by surging Texas, which has won five of its last six games.
N.C. State at Florida St. 9:00 PM ET
Florida State will be eyeing a three-game winning streak Monday when it hosts North Carolina State, which has two wins in four contests following a five-game losing skid to start conference play. Florida State can even its conference record at 5-5 and sweep the season series against N.C. State with a victory.
