Miami-Florida at Florida St. 12:30 PM ET
Following a surprising setback against Georgia Tech last time out, No. 23 Miami (Fla.) looks to rebound when it visits Florida State on Sunday. The Hurricanes won four of their previous five before the 20-point drubbing at home Wednesday, leaving coach Jim Larranaga lamenting his team's Jekyll-and-Hyde play. "This team probably has the widest range of performance I've ever seen," Larranaga told reporters. "They can be absolutely great one night and you just don't recognize them the next day."
Cincinnati at East Carolina 1:00 PM ET
Cincinnati attempts to extend its winning streak to five games when it visits East Carolina for an American Athletic Conference game Sunday. The Bearcats have won eight of their last 10 games, including a 70-58 victory at home over Connecticut on Thursday. Through 20 games, Cincinnati has been led in scoring by seven different players.
Michigan at Michigan St 1:00 PM ET
A sprained foot threatens to keep guard Derrick Walton Jr. out of the lineup for the second straight contest when Michigan visits Michigan State in Sunday’s Big Ten contest. Walton has been bothered by a sprained left toe much of the season and it recently grew into an injury bothering the entire foot. “All the tests are not conclusive,” Wolverines coach John Beilein told reporters. “And that’s why we’ve limited him and we’ll see what happens.”
Utah at Southern California 2:30 PM ET
Utah's trip to Los Angeles got off to a lousy start, but another loss Sunday at USC would be a major confidence blow to a team with Final Four aspirations. The 10th-ranked Utes suffered a 69-59 loss on Thursday against UCLA - the same team that Utah defeated 71-39 on Jan. 4. "I thought they played harder than us," Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak told the media. "We really had only about a five-minute stretch where we played hard enough."
California at Washington 3:00 PM ET
Washington looked like it was turning its season back around with three straight wins but has dropped its last two games as the final third of the regular season looms. The Huskies will try to stop the slide when they host California on Sunday. The Golden Bears contributed to Washington’s struggles when conference play began but went on to drop six in a row before earning their second Pac-12 win at Washington State on Thursday.
Connecticut at Houston 3:00 PM ET
Defending national champion Connecticut will look to regroup and take better care of the basketball when it visits Houston for an American Athletic Conference game Sunday. The Huskies committed 17 turnovers, including 13 in the first half, en route to a 70-58 loss at Cincinnati on Thursday night that ended a two-game winning streak. The good news for UConn is that Houston is winless through eight conference games.
