Preview Roundups
January 21, 2016
Kentucky at Arkansas 7:00 PM ET
Early in the season, Kentucky had a 40-game winning streak against unranked opponents. That streak is barely a memory at this point for the 19th-ranked Wildcats, who hope to stop their slide down the rankings when they visit Arkansas on Thursday.
Memphis at Cincinnati 7:00 PM ET
Cincinnati tries to bounce back from a tough double-overtime loss over the weekend when it hosts Memphis in an American Athletic Conference matchup on Thursday night. The Tigers come in on a bit of a roll, having won two straight to sit in a second-place tie in the league standings behind only unbeaten SMU.
Iowa at Rutgers 7:00 PM ET
Iowa has already proven it can take out the top teams in the Big Ten; now it will try to take out the one on the bottom. The ninth-ranked Hawkeyes will try to run their winning streak to eight straight when they visit last-place Rutgers on Thursday.
Wisconsin at Penn St. 8:00 PM ET
Wisconsin looks to build off its most impressive win of the season when it hits the road to tangle with Penn State on Thursday. The Badgers stunned 10th-ranked Michigan State 77-76 to hand interim head coach Greg Gard his first signature win since taking over from Bo Ryan, who abruptly retired in mid-December.
Ohio St. at Purdue 9:00 PM ET

Purdue has won two straight games by a total of 67 points, including a record-setting 107-57 victory over Rutgers on Monday. The Boilermakers on Thursday host an Ohio State team that last time out was on the wrong end of its own record-setting performance when Maryland took the Buckeyes to the woodshed and whipped them by 35 points.

Arizona State at California 9:00 PM ET
If California is going to end its three-game losing streak Thursday against visiting Arizona State, it will have to do so without leading scorer Tyrone Wallace, who will miss the next four-to-six weeks with a broken right hand. After struggling away from home, the Golden Bears are hoping to get untracked at Haas Pavilion, where they are unbeaten in 11 games.
Southern California at Oregon 9:00 PM ET
USC, which cracked the Top 25 rankings this week for the first time since November 2008, begins a two-game road swing to the Pacific Northwest when it visits Oregon on Thursday. The Trojans, who started the week in a first-place tie in the Pac-12 with Washington, are off to their best start since the 1991-92 squad began 17-3, but haven't won in Eugene since 2009.
Arizona at Stanford 11:00 PM ET
Arizona was expected to struggle offensively without freshman guard Allonzo Trier, who is out for the next three-to-five weeks with a broken hand. Instead, the 11th-ranked Wildcats head into Thursday’s contest at Stanford riding high after averaging 94.5 points in wins over Washington and Washington State last week.
Utah at Washington St. 11:00 PM ET
Utah finds itself in the middle of the Pac-12 standings as it enters Thursday's road tilt at Washington State. The Utes are tied for seventh in conference play after expecting to be one of the better teams in the league while the Cougars are tied for last place in the tough conference.
