Texas at Texas Christian 7:00 PM ET
Texas looks to continue its dominance over in-state rival TCU when the Horned Frogs host the 20th-ranked Longhorns on Monday. The Longhorns have won nine straight and 13 of 14 in the series including a 6-0 mark under coach Rick Barnes. TCU is aiming for its first back-to-back wins in conference play since February 2012, when it was a member of the Mountain West.
Pittsburgh at Duke 7:00 PM ET
No. 4 Duke soothed the bitter taste of two straight losses last time out and looks to build on it when Pittsburgh visits Monday in ACC play. The Blue Devils’ 41-game home winning streak ended against Miami (Fla.) last week before they won at No. 7 Louisville on Saturday. “With the success that came after we won all those games, we kind of lost our edge a little bit,” Duke guard Quinn Cook told the Raleigh News & Observer. “We got it back - it took two losses to get it back."
Villanova at Georgetown 9:00 PM ET
Villanova stepped out of conference play over the weekend to renew acquaintances with a city rival, although the result was much like most of the Wildcats’ recent contests inside the Big East. No. 5 Villanova, which has won four straight by double figures, attempts to extend that streak Monday when it visits another familiar foe in Georgetown. The Wildcats have played only four games this season decided by fewer than 10 points and none since suffering their only loss at Seton Hall on Jan. 3.
Florida St. at Clemson 9:00 PM ET
Clemson is 2-2 in its last four games, but coach Brad Brownell likes what he’s seen from his squad. “(It was a) really good performance by our team,” Brownell said in his news conference Saturday following a 66-53 win over Syracuse. “We’ve really played well seven out of the last eight halves. Even though we only won one game on the road in that stretch, you go back as a coach and evaluate your team’s performance.” The Tigers will try to ride the momentum Monday when they host Florida State.
Oklahoma at Kansas 9:00 PM ET
Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield has quite a performance to follow up when the No. 20 Sooners visit No. 14 Kansas on Monday in Big 12 play. Hield hit all 10 of his shots while scoring 27 points as Oklahoma rolled to an 82-65 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday. “Buddy was fantastic,” Sooners coach Lon Kruger told reporters. “He made shots early when we needed them, and made some late when they thought about making a run.”
