After watching his team split a pair of games while giving up an average of 94.5 points, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski decided it was time to remind his young squad about the importance of playing both ends of the court. The sixth-ranked Blue Devils responded with their best defensive performance in a road conference game in nearly three years, and they'll look to carry that effort back home Saturday when they host Wake Forest.

No. 4 Michigan State looks to improve on a narrow overtime victory in its last outing when it hosts rival Michigan in a Big Ten Conference contest on Saturday. The Spartans edged Rutgers by four points on Wednesday, needing the extra period to get the win, while the Wolverines had their seven-game winning streak snapped as they dropped a one-point decision to seventh-ranked Purdue.

Seventh-ranked Purdue looks to stay unbeaten in Big Ten play when it faces Minnesota on the road Saturday. The Boilermakers extended their winning streak to 12 games overall following a thrilling 70-69 victory against Michigan on Tuesday - their first win in Ann Arbor since 2012 - and can improve to 6-0 in conference play for the first time in 28 years by avenging a 91-82 overtime loss to the Gophers last season.

Seton Hall, no longer unbeaten in the Big East, will look to find the winning formula Saturday against visiting Georgetown. The No. 15 Pirates lacked the energy to compete with Marquette and fell flat in attempting to open league play at 4-0 for the second time, but should have renewed vigor as they go for their fifth straight victory over the Hoyas.

Kansas has won 11 in a row over in-state rival Kansas State at Allen Fieldhouse. The12th-ranked Jayhawks will try to extend the streak to an even dozen Saturday when the two teams, who have met at least once a season every year since 1912, play for the 287th time in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown.
Dartmouth at Boston College 1:00 PM ET
Boston College will try to recover from a humbling road loss against the defending national champions when it hosts Dartmouth on Saturday in the non-conference finale for both teams. The Eagles were coming off their second ACC win of the season and displaying a better brand of basketball than the previous several years in Chestnut Hill, but they were overmatched in a 96-66 loss at No. 18 North Carolina on Tuesday.
Florida at Mississippi 1:00 PM ET
Florida is enjoying a six-game winning streak that includes victories in each of its first four SEC contests, leaving it in first place in the conference in the early going. The Gators will put that undefeated conference mark on the line when they visit Ole Miss on Saturday.
South Carolina at Georgia 1:00 PM ET
Georgia received a huge boost with a resounding victory over Alabama last weekend, but heading into Saturday’s home contest with South Carolina the Bulldogs are looking for consistency after a disappointing performance Wednesday at Missouri. Georgia was pushed around constantly in the second half of a 68-56 defeat, surrendering 48 points in the final 20 minutes while All-SEC center Yante Maten was limited to only one field goal in the second half.
Connecticut at Tulane 1:00 PM ET
Connecticut, in search of its first road victory, will have a chance to get it Saturday when it battles Tulane in an American Athletic Conference game. The Huskies, who are unbeaten in five games against the Green Wave, have not fared well away from home, losing all three of their true road games and three of four contests at neutral sites.

Freshman sensation Trae Young has experienced for the first time what it's like to face big-time defenses, so he might be licking his chops when No. 9 Oklahoma hosts No. 16 TCU on Saturday. The Sooners bounced back from an 89-76 loss at then-No. 7 West Virginia with a 75-65 victory over No. 8 Texas Tech on Tuesday as Young scored 22 of his 27 points in the second half after shooting 1-for-12 from the field in the first.
Georgia Tech at Pittsburgh 2:00 PM ET
With its team now fully intact, Georgia Tech seems to have put several early-season loses behind it and is starting to resemble the squad that played in the NIT championship game last season. After rattling off three consecutive wins at home, including Wednesdays’ 60-53 victory against No. 25 Notre Dame, the Yellow Jackets visit struggling Pittsburgh on Saturday in ACC play.

Florida State will try to begin another long home-court winning streak when it hosts Syracuse on Saturday afternoon in an important crossroads matchup between two teams near the bottom of the ACC standings. The Seminoles saw their 28-game home winning streak end Wednesday with a 73-69 loss to Louisville while Syracuse has dropped three straight contests by a combined 15 points.
Memphis at Temple 2:00 PM ET
Jeremiah Martin has been on a two-game tear for Memphis and aims to carry over that momentum into Saturday's road date against Temple. Martin, a junior guard, has set a career high in points in each of the last two games following a stretch of three straight terrible outings.

No. 21 Arizona has not had many problems on offense this season and it would like to match the effort on the other side of the court from last time out when Oregon pays a visit for a Pac-12 contest Saturday. The Wildcats rebounded from an 80-77 loss at Colorado last Saturday by holding Oregon State to 53 points on 39.3 percent shooting in their nine-point victory on Wednesday.

Xavier was in the midst of a 10-game winning streak and pushing for the best start in program history just over a week ago, before the rigors of the road in the Big East brought its magical season to a temporary halt. With three of their next four at home, the 10th-ranked Musketeers attempt to get back on track when they host No. 22 Creighton on Saturday afternoon and move to 12-0 at the Cintas Center.
West Virginia at Texas Tech 2:00 PM ET
Since opening the season with an ugly 88-65 loss to Texas A&M in the Armed Forces Classic at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, West Virginia has run off 15 consecutive victories en route to a No. 2 national ranking and first place in the Big 12 Conference. But the Mountaineers now face their biggest challenge of the season, a long road trip at No. 8 Texas Tech on Saturday afternoon followed by a home game 55 hours later against 13-time defending Big 12 champion Kansas.

Clemson saw its long winning streak - and perfect ACC record - come to an end in painful fashion on the road. The 17th-ranked Tigers will try to bounce back at home when they host No. 19 Miami (Fla.) in a key conference matchup Saturday afternoon.

Coming off a strong performance in a road defeat against No. 2 West Virginia on Tuesday, Baylor has played much better than their Big 12 record would indicate. The Bears, whose losses have come to ranked teams, will be in search of a much-needed win Saturday when they visit Iowa State, a squad looking for its first conference triumph.

No. 24 Auburn looks to extend its 13-game winning streak when it visits Mississippi State on Saturday for a Southeastern Conference matchup. The Tigers are one of two unbeaten teams in SEC play, with Florida being the other, while the Bulldogs are looking to avoid a three-game slide after suffering a road loss against the Gators on Wednesday.

Louisville looks to build off its upset win at then-No. 23 Florida State as the Cardinals host Virginia Tech in a nationally televised game Saturday afternoon. The Hokies come in on a roll as well, having won back-to-back conference games, but have lost 12 straight to Louisville.

John Calipari knows his Kentucky basketball team remains a work in progress, but entering Saturday’s trip to Vanderbilt the coach also recognizes he is seeing signs of progress. The No. 20 Wildcats showed moxie in rallying from six points down in Tuesday’s 74-73 home victory over Texas A&M, a game in which Calipari played just eight players and relied on PJ Washington’s four points and critical steal in the final 2:28 to hold off the Aggies.

November was a month to remember for Washington State, but the days of going 6-0 with a Wooden Legacy championship seem like a distant memory now. The Huskies are the only Pac-12 team without a conference victory heading into Saturday’s game against visiting California, which has lost three in a row following a win over Stanford.

Texas A&M has endured a nightmarish start to SEC play, and things won’t get any easier when it visits No. 23 Tennessee on Saturday. It’s the second straight road game against a ranked opponent for the Aggies, who hope to avoid falling to 0-5 in conference action.

Two of the teams hoping to crack the SEC’s upper tier square off Saturday, when Missouri travels to face Arkansas and former coach Mike Anderson. The Razorbacks have won five of the last six meetings between the rivals.

No. 11 Arizona State looks to bounce back from another disappointing loss when it hosts Oregon State on Saturday. The Sun Devils raced out to a 12-0 start to move into the Top 5 for the first time since 1981 but have dropped three of their last four games in Pac-12 play, including a 76-72 home setback to Oregon on Thursday, and hope to stop the bleeding by beating the Beavers for the fourth time in five meetings.
Cincinnati at South Florida 7:00 PM ET
The moveable force meets, so far, the unstoppable force on Saturday night as 13th-ranked Cincinnati visits South Florida. The Bearcats enter the game undefeated in American Athletic Conference while USF has yet to find the win column since league play began.

Wichita State will try to continue its road success when it visits former Missouri Valley Conference rival Tulsa on Saturday. The No. 5 Shockers have the nation's longest road winning streak at 10 straight and an undefeated start in their new home in the American Athletic Conference.

Two surprise teams near the top of the Pac-12 standings meet Saturday as Stanford visits a Washington team that has already surpassed last season’s conference win total. Stanford has won three in a row following a loss to California but will be tested by a Washington team that continues to impress under first-year coach Mike Hopkins.

Villanova's loss to Butler last week feels like a distant memory at this point. The top-ranked Wildcats hung 100 points on Marquette two games ago and then throttled Xavier by 24 points their last time out, setting up a daunting task for host St. John's on Saturday.

LSU tries to validate its eye-popping victory at Arkansas and serve notice that it is a legitimate SEC title contender when it hosts Alabama on Saturday. The Tigers won at Arkansas 75-54 on Wednesday for its fifth victory in six games - its only loss during that span was to No. 20 Kentucky 74-71 at home - and will try to snap a three-game slide against the Crimson Tide.
Gonzaga at San Francisco 9:30 PM ET
Silas Melson just delivered the top scoring game of his career and the senior guard looks to post another strong outing when No. 14 Gonzaga visits San Francisco on Saturday in West Coast Conference play. Melson established career highs of 23 points and seven 3-pointers as the Bulldogs steamrolled Portland 103-57 on Thursday.
Colorado at UCLA 10:30 PM ET
UCLA tries for its seventh victory in the last eight games when it hosts struggling Colorado on Saturday and can probably count on another outstanding effort from Aaron Holiday. The junior guard, who is fifth in the Pac-12 at 19.4 points per game, is averaging 22 over his last nine contests after scoring 20 in Thursday's 83-64 victory over Utah.
