Preview Roundups
December 02, 2018
Phoenix at L.A. Lakers 3:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers are winners of back-to-back games and can clinch a winning four-game homestand when they host the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. The Lakers, who knocked off Indiana and Dallas in the last two games, are getting strong performances from the supporting cast around superstar LeBron James.
New Orleans at Charlotte 5:00 PM ET
The New Orleans Pelicans nearly recovered from a 31-point deficit on Friday thanks to the heroics of Anthony Davis, but they would prefer to stop playing from so far behind. The Pelicans will try to put 48 minutes together and earn a rare road win when they visit the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.
Utah at Miami 6:00 PM ET
The road is serving the Utah Jazz well so far, with the team taking the first two stops of a three-game trip over Brooklyn and Charlotte. The Jazz can get back to .500 for the first time in over two weeks and sweep the road trip when they visit the Miami Heat on Sunday.
Memphis at Philadelphia 6:00 PM ET
The Philadelphia 76ers are winners of seven of their last eight games and took the first two of a three-game homestand by a total of 51 points. The 76ers will try to keep rolling to big wins when they host the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.
L.A. Clippers at Dallas 7:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers have a chance to record their second five-game winning streak in a span of just over three weeks when they visit the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. The Clippers raced toward the top of the Western Conference with a five-game run in the middle of November and seized first place in the West with their current four-game surge.
Portland at San Antonio 7:00 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs continue to sink toward the bottom of the Western Conference while displaying an uncharacteristic inability to stop opponents on the defensive end. They will try to limit the damage against the visiting Portland Trail Blazers -- who already put up some big numbers against the Spurs earlier this season -- when the teams meet Sunday.
