Toronto at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees breezed to the American League East title despite setting a record for most players in a season on the injured list -- and now another key player is ailing. Gleyber Torres exited Friday's 4-3 loss and likely will be unavailable when New York attempts to avoid its first home series loss since April when it hosts the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday afternoon.
St. Louis at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET
As the first-place St. Louis Cardinals look into their rearview mirror, the image of the Chicago Cubs appears smaller each day as the clubs continue their four-game series at Wrigley Field on Saturday. After losing its first six contests in Chicago this season, St. Louis has won two straight in one-run fashion and leads Milwaukee by three games in the National League Central while opening up a five-game cushion on the Cubs.
NY Mets at Cincinnati 4:10 PM ET

The New York Mets are taking care of their own business as they try to track down a National League wild card spot, but they will need a little help. The Mets try to keep posting wins while watching the out of town scoreboard when they visit the Cincinnati Reds for the second of a three-game series on Saturday.

Boston at Tampa Bay 6:10 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays opened their final homestand of the season with a dramatic win to boost their wild-card chances, and they'll aim for a third straight victory Saturday in the second of four straight meetings with the visiting Boston Red Sox. An RBI single by Willy Adames in the bottom of the 11th gave the Rays a 5-4 win in a seesaw affair Friday night.
Washington at Miami 6:10 PM ET
The Washington Nationals are trying to lock up the top wild card spot in the National League and are taking advantage of a team at the bottom of the standings. The Nationals will attempt to make it two consecutive wins when they visit the NL-worst Miami Marlins for the second of a three-game series on Saturday.
Chi. White Sox at Detroit 6:10 PM ET
The Chicago White Sox have already clinched a seventh straight losing season, but some of their young bats give them hope for the future. Yoan Moncada, Eloy Jimenez and others will try to lead the White Sox to a third straight win when they continue a three-game series at the Detroit Tigers on Saturday.
Seattle at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
Anthony Santander gets another opportunity to further his case to be part of Baltimore's future when the Orioles host the Seattle Mariners on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game series. The 24-year-old Santander belted a three-run homer in Friday's 5-3 victory to become the fourth member of the Orioles to launch 20 blasts this season.
LA Angels at Houston 7:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros own the best record in the majors and look to keep it that way as they go for a seventh straight victory when the struggling Los Angeles Angels pay a visit for the second of a three-game series Saturday night. The Astros (101-53) launched four homers en route to a 6-4 victory in the series opener Friday and lead the New York Yankees by 1 1/2 games for the best record in baseball with eight contests left.
Kansas City at Minnesota 7:10 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins' magic number to clinch their first American League Central title since 2010 is five with eight games remaining - a more than attainable goal given their combined 22-8 record this season against the remaining teams on the schedule. The Twins attempt to take another step toward the division crown on Saturday, when they go for a sixth consecutive win over the visiting Kansas City Royals.
Philadelphia at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
Oscar Mercado continues to play like he has been through the rigors of September before, and the rookie outfielder looks to stay hot when his Cleveland Indians host the desperate Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday for the second of a three-game interleague series. The 24-year-old had two hits, two RBIs and scored twice as the Indians stretched their winning streak to five games with a 5-2 victory Friday.
Pittsburgh at Milwaukee 7:10 PM ET
A weekend series against the struggling Pittsburgh Pirates figured to give the Milwaukee Brewers a chance to create some separation in the National League wild-card race, and it hasn't taken long for things to break the way they had hoped. The Brewers seek a fifth straight victory over the visiting Pirates on Saturday, when the NL Central rivals square off in the middle contest of their three-game series.
San Francisco at Atlanta 7:20 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves clinched their second straight National League East title and third in seven years Friday -- each coming with seven games left in the season. Though they have an outside shot of catching the Los Angeles Dodgers for the NL's best record, the Braves likely will ease up on the throttle as they resume a three-game set against the visiting San Francisco Giants on Saturday night.
Arizona at San Diego 8:40 PM ET
San Diego Padres star Manny Machado is battling a lengthy slump as he heads into the final week of his first season with the team. Machado and the Padres look to get untracked Saturday when they continue their three-game series against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks.
Texas at Oakland 9:07 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics continue to receive strong pitching performances as they try to nail down a spot in the postseason. They hope to get another when they host the Texas Rangers on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game series.
Colorado at LA Dodgers 9:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers look to sew up their second 100-win season in three years when they host the Colorado Rockies on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set. Los Angeles rolled to a 12-5 victory in the series opener to record win No. 99 while improving to 14-3 against Colorado this campaign.
