Baltimore at Tampa Bay 3:10 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays are piling up the wins of late and have a great chance to pick up two more in a hurry before Hurricane Dorian hits Florida when they host the last-place Baltimore Orioles for a doubleheader Tuesday. The Rays won Monday's opener of the abbreviated three-game set with a 5-4 triumph in 10 innings, their fifth victory in a row.
Texas at NY Yankees 6:35 PM ET
One day after being shut out for the first time in well over a year, the New York Yankees will try to get their bats going again in the second of a three-game series with the visiting Texas Rangers on Tuesday. The mighty Yankees lineup was held to six hits and went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position in Monday's 7-0 loss.
Philadelphia at Cincinnati 6:40 PM ET
Rhys Hoskins started to show some signs he was on the verge of breaking out of a long slump late last week, and it didn't take much time to remember how much he enjoyed hitting at Great American Ball Park. The 26-year-old Sacramento State product looks to continue what has been a promising stretch Tuesday when the Philadelphia Phillies visit Cincinnati for the second of four games against the Reds.

NY Mets at Washington 7:05 PM ET
The last three National League Cy Young Award winners will be featured on the mound when the New York Mets visit the Washington Nationals on Tuesday for the second of a three-game series between National League East rivals. New York gives the ball to 2018 winner Jacob deGrom after taking the series opener 7-3 on Monday, while the Nationals counter with 2016 and 2017 Cy Young victor Max Scherzer.
Miami at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Pirates carried a hot stretch into the final month of the season and have a great shot to keep it going when they begin hosting a three-game series Tuesday with the struggling Miami Marlins, who have lost a franchise-record 15 straight on the road. The Pirates scored 37 runs in a four-game sweep at Colorado over the weekend and have taken eight of their last 10 overall.
Minnesota at Boston 7:10 PM ET
If the Boston Red Sox hope to stay in the wild card race in the American League, they are going to need to put together some wins over the teams at the top of the standings. The Red Sox will try to do just that when they host the AL Central-leading Minnesota Twins in the opener of a three-game series on Tuesday.
Chi. White Sox at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians rebounded after a tough series in the Sunshine State with an easy victory and look to build on that momentum when they host the fading Chicago White Sox for the second of a four-game set on Tuesday. The Indians, who were outscored 21-8 while being swept in three games at Tampa Bay, pounded out 11 hits on the way to an 11-3 victory in the series opener Monday night.
Toronto at Atlanta 7:20 PM ET
Josh Donaldson won a MVP award with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2015, and he hurt his former team while putting the Atlanta Braves in position to sweep a two-game home series Tuesday. Donaldson belted his 34th homer of the season in the first inning and scored three times with two RBIs in Monday’s 6-3 victory, lifting Atlanta to its 13th victory in its last 15 games and extending the Braves lead over Washington in the National League East to 6 1/2 games.
Houston at Milwaukee 7:40 PM ET
Clutch hitting and a dominant rotation are the biggest reasons why the first-place Houston Astros are steamrolling toward their third straight American League West title as they visit the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday in the finale of their two-game series. One day after Abraham Toro's ninth inning home run paved the way for Justin Verlander's no-hitter, George Springer belted a home run in the 10th of Houston's 3-2 victory Monday - its 12th win in 15 games.
San Francisco at St. Louis 7:45 PM ET
Even playing five games over a span of 52 hours couldn’t slow down the surging St. Louis Cardinals, who went 4-1 during the marathon stretch. The Cardinals look to settle back into their routine Tuesday when they continue their four-game series against the visiting San Francisco Giants.
Seattle at Chi. Cubs 8:05 PM ET
The Chicago Cubs took out their frustration with the bats late in the series opener and gave themselves a chance to finish off a sweep of the two-game interleague set with the visiting Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night. The Cubs had been shut out for 24 straight innings before Kyle Schwarber highlighted a five-run, seventh-inning rally with a three-run triple in Monday’s 5-1 win to solidify their hold of the National League’s second wild card.
Detroit at Kansas City 8:15 PM ET
The American League is a battle at the top, but the bottom of the standings hold their own intrigue. The Kansas City Royals can take a big step towards ensuring they will not finish in the AL Central basement when they host the Detroit Tigers in the opener of a three-game series on Tuesday.
San Diego at Arizona 9:40 PM ET
The confidence level is rising for the Arizona Diamondbacks, who have won seven of their last eight games to stay in the hunt for the second National League wild card spot. The Diamondbacks look to maintain their momentum Tuesday when they continue their three-game series against the visiting San Diego Padres.
LA Angels at Oakland 10:07 PM ET
Mike Fiers is on a roll that most pitchers can only dream about and the Oakland Athletics hope the reality continues when they begin a six-game homestand Tuesday with the first of three against the Los Angeles Angels. Fiers is 11-0 with a 2.41 ERA in 20 starts since throwing a no-hitter against Cincinnati on May 7 and is among the biggest reasons why Oakland is firmly entrenched in the American League wild card race.
Colorado at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers could not have asked for much more than what Gavin Lux gave them in his much-anticipated big-league debut, but what they may not have anticipated was several of his teammates doing their best to overshadow him. Coming off one of their most explosive offensive outbursts of the season, the Dodgers hope to keep it going Tuesday when they continue their three-game set at home against the Colorado Rockies.
