Atlanta at Philadelphia 1:05 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves learned outfielder Nick Markakis will miss six weeks with a fractured wrist and shortstop Dansby Swanson is out with a bruised heel, but that hasn’t stopped them from a chance to sweep the Philadelphia Phillies in Sunday's finale of a three-game road series. Ozzie Albies hit a grand slam and recently promoted outfielder Adam Duvall homered as the Braves bashed the Phillies 15-7 Saturday, extending their lead over Washington to 6 1/2 games in the National League East.
Tampa Bay at Toronto 1:07 PM ET
The slumping Tampa Bay Rays must lick their wounds after another devastating loss when they visit the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday afternoon for the rubber match of a three-game series between American League East rivals. The Rays took a six-run lead into the eighth inning Saturday before dropping a 10-9 decision in the 12th after serving up six homers to the Blue Jays, including a walk-off blast by Teoscar Hernandez.
Arizona at Miami 1:10 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks reportedly are on the verge of becoming sellers as the trade deadline looms despite being only 2 1/2 games back in the National League wild-card race, but it was a pair of likely holdovers who stepped up in a big way in their latest win. The Diamondbacks attempt to break out of their recent pattern of alternating wins and losses on Sunday, when they visit the Miami Marlins for the third contest of their four-game series.
Colorado at Cincinnati 1:10 PM ET
Rookie Josh VanMeter is making the most of his opportunity this weekend with the Cincinnati Reds, who take on the visiting Colorado Rockies on Sunday in the rubber match of a three-game set. The 24-year-old rookie is 8-for-11 with three home runs and four RBIs over his last three games after going deep in a 2-for-3 effort en route to a 3-1 win over the Rockies on Saturday.
Pittsburgh at NY Mets 1:10 PM ET
Although they figure to be sellers at the trade deadline, the New York Mets are playing like a team that wants to stay relevant. The Mets will try to extend their latest winning streak to four in a row when they aim for a sweep of a three-game set against the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday.
LA Dodgers at Washington 1:35 PM ET
Stephen Strasburg is tied for the major league lead in victories and will look to become the first pitcher to reach 14 wins when the Washington Nationals wrap up a three-game series against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday afternoon. Strasburg will attempt to prevent a sweep by Los Angeles when he matches up against fellow right-hander Walker Buehler.
Minnesota at Chi. White Sox 2:10 PM ET
Winning the American League Central seemed like a safe bet for the Minnesota Twins, who owned a double-digit lead as recently as June 18. That advantage has all but disappeared as Minnesota enters the finale of its four-game series against the host Chicago White Sox one game up in the division.
Chi. Cubs at Milwaukee 2:10 PM ET
Christian Yelich is enjoying another MVP-caliber season, but no player in the major leagues has been a better hitter over the last two-plus weeks than teammate Keston Hiura. The red-hot rookie looks to extend his hitting streak to 16 games on Sunday, when his Milwaukee Brewers set their sights on a three-game sweep of the visiting Chicago Cubs.
Houston at St. Louis 2:15 PM ET
St. Louis first baseman Paul Goldschmidt on Sunday will try to hit a home run in his seventh straight game when the Cardinals host the Houston Astros in the rubber match of their three-game series. Goldschmidt tied the club record set by Mark McGwire and Matt Carpenter with a solo shot during Saturday's 8-2 loss and is two shy of the major league record set by Dale Long, Don Mattingly and Ken Griffey Jr.
Cleveland at Kansas City 2:15 PM ET
Right-hander Trevor Bauer could make his final start in an Indians uniform when visiting Cleveland tries for a three-game sweep of the Kansas City Royals on Sunday. Bauer, who leads the majors in innings (152 1/3), has drawn interest from Philadelphia, Minnesota and the New York Yankees but the Indians - desperate for a bat - could be reluctant with an already thin starting rotation.
Baltimore at LA Angels 4:07 PM ET
The Baltimore Orioles aim for their first series sweep of the season on Sunday as they face the host Los Angeles Angels, who have lost three in a row following a four-game winning streak. The Angels were trending upward after completing a two-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers, but the Orioles quickly erased that momentum with three surprising road victories.
Texas at Oakland 4:07 PM ET
The struggling Oakland Athletics managed to avoid a fourth consecutive loss and sixth in seven games Saturday, but it took a strong play to do it. Oakland looks to earn a split of its four-game series against the visiting Texas Rangers when it hosts Sunday's finale.
San Francisco at San Diego 4:10 PM ET
The San Diego Padres look to avoid their fifth consecutive series loss on Sunday, when they face the visiting San Francisco Giants in the rubber match of their three-game set. Rookie Fernando Tatis Jr. belted a two-run homer in Saturday’s 5-1 victory as San Diego snapped its eight-game home losing streak.
Detroit at Seattle 4:10 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners have had a rough time stringing victories together since their red-hot start to the season, but they will go after a fifth straight win Sunday afternoon when the major league-worst Detroit Tigers pay a visit. The Mariners, who won six in a row during their 13-2 start to the campaign, pounded out 16 hits in Saturday’s 8-1 triumph over Detroit and have scored 26 times during the current winning streak.
NY Yankees at Boston 7:05 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox are sending the American League East-leading New York Yankees a not-so-subtle message: "You don't want to see us in the postseason." After treating the visiting Yankees like punching bags by amassing 38 runs over the last three days, the Red Sox look to complete a four-game sweep in the series finale Sunday night at Fenway Park.
