Colorado at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees can clinch their sixth straight series win at home and improve to 14-0-1 in their last 15 sets in the Bronx with a win over the Colorado Rockies on Saturday. The Yankees opened the three-game series with an 8-2 victory Friday night to improve to 37-16 at home and move 30 games over .500 (63-33) for the first time this year.
San Diego at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET
The Chicago Cubs seem to have made good use of the rest during the All-Star break and look to continue their surge when they host the struggling San Diego Padres on Saturday afternoon for the second of a three-game set. The Cubs lost eight of 12 games before the break, but have won six of seven since after pulling out a 6-5 victory over San Diego in the series opener Friday.
NY Mets at San Francisco 4:05 PM ET
After pulling even at .500 for the first time since Opening Day, the San Francisco Giants now are in prime position to make a run at the second wild-card spot in the National League. The Giants carry a season-high seven-game winning streak into Saturday afternoon’s contest against the visiting New York Mets, who have scored a total of two runs in the first two games of the series.
Chi. White Sox at Tampa Bay 6:10 PM ET
The Chicago White Sox's post-All-Star Game swoon was no match for the one currently plaguing the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays will once again try to bust out of their slump and even the series at one win apiece when they host the White Sox in the second of a three-game series on Saturday.
Toronto at Detroit 6:10 PM ET
The Detroit Tigers are going through one of the worst stretches of the club's 119-year history, and there doesn't appear to be any indication their fortunes are set to change anytime soon after the Toronto Blue Jays handed them their fifth double-digit loss of the season. The Tigers attempt to win for only the fourth time in 25 contests Saturday when they host the Blue Jays for the second of three games.
Philadelphia at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies have won two in a row for the first time in nearly three weeks and will try to extend the run to three straight when they continue a three-game series at the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday. Nine different Phillies had at least one hit and the team amassed 15 overall in Friday's 6-1 win to begin the set.
Boston at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
Every time it looks like the Boston Red Sox are ready to take a step forward, they end up taking a big step back. The Red Sox will try to recover from their latest stumble and even the series at one win apiece when they visit the Baltimore Orioles for the second of a three-game series on Saturday.
Texas at Houston 7:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros relied on solo homers in the series opener and look to record their second straight victory when they host the Texas Rangers on Saturday. Houston belted four blasts, including three straight in the third inning, en route to a 4-3 triumph in the first contest of the three-game set.
Oakland at Minnesota 7:10 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics displayed their resiliency after having their six-game winning streak halted in the series opener. Oakland attempts to earn at least a split of the four-game set when it visits the American League Central-leading Minnesota Twins on Saturday.
Kansas City at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians are taking advantage of the bottom two teams in the American League Central this week and look to extend their winning streak to a season-high seven games when they host the Kansas City Royals on Saturday. The Indians took four straight from last-place Detroit to open the week and recorded 16 hits en route to a 10-5 victory Friday to open a three-game set with the Royals.
St. Louis at Cincinnati 7:10 PM ET
A seven-run lead after five innings should have been enough for the Cincinnati Reds to get back on track Friday, although overcoming deficits hasn't been much of a problem for the St. Louis Cardinals recently. The Cardinals eye a fourth straight victory and look to improve to 7-2 since the All-Star break Saturday when they play the third of four games in Cincinnati.
Washington at Atlanta 7:20 PM ET
Ronald Acuna Jr. doesn’t turn 22 years old until December, but he continues to fuel the Atlanta Braves as they host the Washington Nationals in the third of a critical four-game home series Saturday. The Braves center fielder extended his on-base streak to 25 games with a three-hit performance in Friday’s 4-3 series-tying victory, pushing Atlanta’s lead in the National League East to 6 1/2 games as Acuna doubled and stole a base to give him 10 steals during his streak.
Milwaukee at Arizona 8:10 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks have been mentioned as possible sellers ahead of the July 31 trade deadline, but a recent surge could change their thinking. Arizona sits one game out of the second wild-card spot in the National League heading into Saturday’s contest against the visiting Milwaukee Brewers, who are one-half game ahead of the Diamondbacks.
Miami at LA Dodgers 9:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers' high-powered offense was tamed in the series opener, but the team still found a way to emerge victorious. The National League West-leading Dodgers attempt to clinch the three-game set when they host the Miami Marlins for the middle contest on Saturday.
LA Angels at Seattle 9:10 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners broke out of their offensive slumber in the series opener and look to follow up the strong showing when they host the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set. Daniel Vogelbach registered two homers and six RBIs on Friday as Seattle rolled to a 10-0 victory after scoring just nine runs over its first five games following the All-Star break.
