Toronto at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees look to get their offense back in gear after a frustrating loss when they host to American League East-rival Toronto Blue Jays for the rubber match of a three-game series Sunday afternoon. The AL East-leading Yankees stranded 11 men, including the tying run on third in the bottom of the ninth, before suffering a 2-1 setback on Saturday for their fourth fourth loss in 13 games.
Washington at Philadelphia 1:05 PM ET
Juan Soto has enjoyed much success at the expense of the Philadelphia Phillies throughout his brief major-league career, and he's taken it a step further this year by twice breaking their heart late in games. The 20-year-old slugger attempts to lead the red-hot Washington Nationals to a sixth consecutive victory and second straight series sweep of the Phillies when the National League East rivals complete their three-game set in Philadelphia on Sunday.
Tampa Bay at Baltimore 1:05 PM ET
Apart from Saturday afternoon's doubleheader opener, the Tampa Bay Rays are tearing the cover off the ball this weekend. The Rays sandwiched a pair of double-digit scoring efforts around a 2-1 setback in the first three games of the series and will try to keep the offense going when they visit the Baltimore Orioles for the finale of the four-game set on Sunday.
Minnesota at Cleveland 1:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians entered the All-Star break on a roll with a long homestand in front of them, but must earn a victory Sunday afternoon to avoid a three-game sweep at the hands of the American League Central-leading Minnesota Twins. Max Kepler launched a pair of homers in Saturday’s 6-2 victory as the Twins pushed their lead in the division to 7 1/2 games over the Indians.
NY Mets at Miami 1:10 PM ET
The New York Mets will try to pick up a series win on the road for the first time since April 1-3 when they take on the Miami Marlins in the rubber match of a three-game set Sunday afternoon. After dropping the series opener, the Mets used a strong start from Noah Syndergaard and a clutch two-run homer from Robinson Cano to take Saturday's matchup 4-2.
San Francisco at Milwaukee 2:10 PM ET
The Milwaukee Brewers played like a desperate team Saturday, putting forth two dramatic rallies before walking off with a much-needed win. They'll try to carry over some momentum from that victory when they play the visiting San Francisco Giants in the rubber match of a three-game set Sunday afternoon.
Arizona at St. Louis 2:15 PM ET
The St. Louis Cardinals hope to have veteran right-hander Adam Wainwright on the mound when they host the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday in the rubber match of a three-game series. Wainwright was scratched from his scheduled start in Friday's series opener due to a back issue but is expected to be well enough to try to pitch the Cardinals to the series win.
Detroit at Kansas City 2:15 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals needed to find something to help reverse their fortunes, and they appear to have found it in the Detroit Tigers. Kansas City, which lost nine of 11 prior to the All-Star break, attempts to complete a three-game sweep when it hosts Detroit on Sunday.
Pittsburgh at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET
The Chicago Cubs scored late to win the first game before putting up seven runs in the opening inning of the second and will go after a three-game sweep of the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday afternoon. Catcher Willson Contreras belted a three-run homer to highlight the big first inning Saturday for the Cubs, who cruised home for a 10-4 victory to secure first place in the tight National League Central.
Houston at Texas 3:05 PM ET
The 2019 season has not been kind to three-time batting champion Jose Altuve, but he has dropped hints over the last two-plus weeks that he might be poised to go on a tear in the near future. Coming off his second four-hit effort of the month, the 2017 American League MVP hopes to lead the Houston Astros to a series split when they visit the Texas Rangers on Sunday for the finale of their four-game set.
Cincinnati at Colorado 3:10 PM ET
This weekend’s visit to Coors Field has been the perfect elixir for the Cincinnati Reds, who entered the All-Star break ranked near the bottom of the National League in several offensive categories. Less than 12 hours after setting season highs in hits and runs scored, the Reds face the Colorado Rockies on Sunday in the rubber match of their three-game series.
Seattle at LA Angels 4:07 PM ET
The All-Star break did nothing to slow down Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout, who has collected eight home runs and 18 RBIs over his last seven games. Trout looks to continue his torrid pace on Sunday, when the Angels aim for a sweep of their three-game series against the visiting Seattle Mariners.
Chi. White Sox at Oakland 4:07 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics have lost only one of their last 11 series and are 6-0-1 in their last seven as they surge toward a postseason spot. Oakland looks to complete a three-game sweep when it hosts the Chicago White Sox on Sunday.
Atlanta at San Diego 4:10 PM ET
Manny Machado and Josh Donaldson entered last offseason as two of the top offensive free agents, and both will look to continue their impressive power surges of late as the Atlanta Braves aim for a three-game series sweep Sunday against the host San Diego Padres. Both players have belted three homers in the series so far, with Donaldson hitting two in Friday’s opener and Machado going deep twice on Saturday, but it was the Braves rallying for a 7-5, 10-inning victory in the middle contest.
LA Dodgers at Boston 7:05 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers finally found a way to win at Fenway Park on Saturday and are poised to exact some revenge with a series victory when they visit the Boston Red Sox for the finale of the three-game interleague set on Sunday. The Dodgers, who dropped Games 1 and 2 of the World Series at Fenway Park last October, fell in the series opener on Friday before bouncing back with an 11-2 triumph on Saturday.
