Chi. White Sox at Minnesota 2:10 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins ended their 6-1 road trip with a monstrous power display and kicked off their homestand with another strong surge, belting three home runs to eclipse the century mark for the season. Minnesota hopes to add to its total of 101 on Saturday afternoon as it seeks a fifth straight victory when it hosts the Chicago White Sox.
NY Yankees at Kansas City 2:15 PM ET
The New York Yankees have been taking advantage of struggling teams for the better part of May to build a 2 1/2-game lead in the American League East. The Yankees will take on another such opponent beginning Saturday, when they visit the Kansas City Royals for a split doubleheader after Friday's scheduled series opener was rained out.
Cincinnati at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET
The Cincinnati Reds have played a big role in cooling off the Chicago Cubs the last few weeks and look to continue that success when they visit Wrigley Field for the second of a three-game series between National League Central rivals. Eugenio Suarez belted a two-run homer in the top of the ninth to give the cellar-dwelling Reds a 6-5 victory on Friday for their third triumph in four games against the first-place Cubs this year.
San Diego at Toronto 3:07 PM ET
Hunter Renfroe has provided plenty of offensive production for the San Diego Padres, swatting 26 home runs in each of the previous two seasons, and both he and the team are getting plenty of mileage from the long ball this year. After hitting three homers in the series opener in Toronto, the Padres can match their longest win streak of the season Saturday afternoon versus the host Blue Jays.
Miami at Washington 4:05 PM ET
The bullpen still looks shaky, but at least the Washington Nationals' offense is picking up some of the slack. The Nationals will try to put together back-to-back wins following a five-game slide when they host the Miami Marlins on Saturday in the second of a four-game series.
Arizona at San Francisco 4:05 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks snapped their five-game losing streak by scoring a season-high 18 runs on Friday and look to carry that momentum into Saturday when they continue their three-game series against the host San Francisco Giants. Arizona had averaged 2.4 runs per game during its losing skid before erupting for a season-high 21 hits in Friday’s 18-2 victory.
Seattle at Oakland 4:07 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics look to begin a winning streak against the Seattle Mariners after ending a losing one when they host the middle contest of their three-game series on Saturday afternoon. The Athletics scored five of their runs on homers in Friday's 6-2 triumph as they defeated Seattle for the first time in five meetings this season.
Tampa Bay at Cleveland 4:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians scratched across two runs in the eighth inning and held on to avoid their fifth straight loss last time out, and look to start moving in a positive direction again when they host the Tampa Bay Rays for the third of a four-game set Saturday. Francisco Lindor singled and scored the go-ahead run and the bullpen recorded four scoreless innings as Cleveland earned a 3-1 victory to even the series Friday.
Detroit at NY Mets 4:10 PM ET
After finally putting an end to a ghastly losing streak, the Detroit Tigers will look to post back-to-back victories for the first time in over a month when they resume a three-game series at the New York Mets on Saturday afternoon. Detroit was pierced for 68 runs during its nine-game slide and had to overcome a five-homer barrage by the Mets in Friday's 9-8 victory.
Philadelphia at Milwaukee 4:10 PM ET
Milwaukee Brewers star Christian Yelich made some history on Friday, but Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies came away with the win. Yelich will try to pull the Brewers even in the three-game series when they host the Phillies on Saturday.
Boston at Houston 7:15 PM ET
David Price will attempt to lead the Boston Red Sox past the host Houston Astros on Saturday as he faces them for the first time since ending his postseason victory drought against the club in October. Price registered nine strikeouts and allowed three hits over six scoreless innings to pick up the win in the clinching Game 5 as the Red Sox won the American League Championship Series over Houston en route to capturing the World Series title.
Atlanta at St. Louis 7:15 PM ET
Dansby Swanson played most of last season with an injured left wrist that kept him off the playoff roster and led to offseason surgery, but the Atlanta Braves shortstop is healthy and producing entering Saturday’s contest at the St. Louis Cardinals. Swanson extended his hitting streak to seven games with the second multi-homer game of his career in Friday’s 5-2 victory, giving him 10 homers and 35 RBIs in 52 games as the Braves won for the 11th time in 14 games.
LA Dodgers at Pittsburgh 7:15 PM ET
It's been a bit of an all-or-nothing effort for the Los Angeles Dodgers throughout their eight-game road trip, either finding themselves on the right side of an offensive explosion or struggling to score runs. The Dodgers experienced the former in the series opener and hope to continue their recent dominance of the Pittsburgh Pirates when they play the middle contest of their three-game road set on Saturday.
NY Yankees at Kansas City 8:15 PM ET
The New York Yankees have been taking advantage of struggling teams for the better part of May to build a 2 1/2-game lead in the American League East. The Yankees will take on another such opponent beginning Saturday, when they visit the Kansas City Royals for a split doubleheader after Friday's scheduled series opener was rained out.
Baltimore at Colorado 9:10 PM ET
The Colorado Rockies opened their longest homestand of the season with a come-from-behind walk-off win and they'll try to make it two in a row over the Baltimore Orioles when the teams continue a three-game series Saturday. The Texas Rangers attempt to extend their season-high winning streak to six games when they visit the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set. Texas improved to 8-1 in its last nine overall games when it rallied for a 4-3 triumph in the series opener on Friday.
