San Francisco at Cincinnati 12:35 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants have enjoyed plenty of late-game magic recently and hope their latest dramatic victory can lead them to a series win when they finish a four-game series at the Cincinnati Reds on Monday afternoon. Brandon Crawford's tiebreaking, pinch-hit two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning lifted the Giants to a 6-5 win in Sunday's matchup after they fell behind 4-0 early.
Chi. White Sox at Cleveland 6:10 PM ET
Jose Abreu is one of the hottest hitters in the majors and the 32-year-old Cuban looks to continue producing big numbers when his Chicago White Sox visit the Cleveland Indians on Monday night to open a four-game series. Abreu owns multiple hits in eight of his last 10 games and is 25-for-58 with five homers along with 23 RBIs over his past 14 contests for the White Sox, who dropped the last three outings against Boston.
Seattle at NY Yankees 6:35 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners snapped a six-game slide and looked a lot like the team that burst out of the gate in April when they blasted the Cleveland Indians 10-0 on Sunday. The Mariners will try to turn that into a winning streak when they continue the road trip by visiting the New York Yankees on Monday in the opener of a four-game series.
Boston at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox are pounding the ball in bunches of late to complement a couple of solid turns around the rotation. The Red Sox will be looking to reach .500 for the first time since March 29 and earn a seventh win in eight games when they visit the Baltimore Orioles for the opener of a three-game series on Monday.
Minnesota at Toronto 7:07 PM ET
Marwin Gonzalez wasn't providing much return on the Minnesota Twins' investment in March and April, but the 30-year-old has begun to pay dividends in the first week of May. Gonzalez looks to continue his recent strong play on Monday when the Twins open a three-game series against the host Toronto Blue Jays.
Arizona at Tampa Bay 7:10 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks were well on their way to a second straight series sweep before a bullpen collapse Sunday in Colorado. They'll try to bounce back in a hurry when they begin a three-game interleague set at the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday.
Washington at Milwaukee 7:40 PM ET
The Milwaukee Brewers appear to be getting healthier with the return of reigning National League Most Valuable Player Christian Yelich, while the Washington Nationals are fading with losses in eight of their last 11 contests. The Brewers will aim to continue their ascent on Monday night in the opener of a three-game series against the visiting Nationals.
Philadelphia at St. Louis 8:05 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies have heated up, winning six of their last eight contests, and look to continue their surge against a vulnerable team on Monday when they begin a six-game road trip with the first of three contests against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Phillies used a five-run sixth inning to break open the game and post a 7-1 win over Washington on Sunday.
Miami at Chi. Cubs 8:05 PM ET
The Chicago Cubs have climbed into first place in the National League Central with seven straight victories and look to avoid a letdown when they host the major league-worst Miami Marlins on Monday for the opener of their four-game series. Kris Bryant belted a grand slam as the Cubs completed a three-game sweep of St. Louis with Sunday's 13-5 victory and pushed their total to 55 runs during the winning streak.
Kansas City at Houston 8:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros' inconsistent offense came alive in its last series, recording more homers than the opposition did runs. Following an explosive trip to Mexico that capped an up-and-down six-game road trip, the Astros hope their bats remain hot at home on Monday, when they begin a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals.
Atlanta at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
After Nick Markakis struggled in the second half last season there were plenty of questions when the Atlanta Braves resigned him, but the veteran right fielder is off to a hot start entering Monday’s series opener at the Los Angeles Dodgers. Markakis has hit safely in 11 of his past 12 games after belting a solo homer to help the Braves finish a three-game sweep of Miami on Sunday and comes into Monday hitting .333 with a .925 OPS after going 2-for-2 with two walks in the series finale.
NY Mets at San Diego 10:10 PM ET
The New York Mets hope to put the first half of their six-game road trip behind them and turn around their fortunes when they begin a three-game series against the host San Diego Padres on Monday. New York suffered a 3-2 loss in Milwaukee on Sunday that completed a three-game sweep during which it scored a total of six runs.
