Robert Bortuzzo, Zach Sanford, Ryan O'Reilly and Ivan Barbashev each scored one goal and David Perron added two assists as the visiting St. Louis Blues defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1 Saturday night.
O'Reilly also had an assist on Barbashev's empty-net goal at 18:17 of the third period.
Goaltender Jake Allen made 22 saves for the Blues, who won for the second time in seven games this season.
Morgan Rielly scored for the Maple Leafs, who have lost two in a row.
Toronto goaltender Frederik Andersen stopped 21 shots.
St. Louis had a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal in a goalless first period.
The Blues had the only power play of the first period, a tripping penalty to Ron Hainsey at 17:13.
The Maple Leafs failed on their first man-advantage situation after Brayden Schenn took an interference penalty at 1:22 of the second period.
After killing off the penalty, the Blues took the lead at 4:45 on Bortuzzo's first goal of the season, a tip-in on Perron's shot.
Soon after Andersen made a good save on Schenn to hold the lead at one, St. Louis took a 2-0 lead at 13:05 when Sanford scored from the right circle for his first goal of the season. Perron and Alex Pietrangelo assisted.
The Blues took a 3-0 lead at 16:37 of the second on O'Reilly's first goal of the season, a shot from the low slot on a setup by Vladimir Tarasenko. Pat Maroon also earned an assist.
The goal came four seconds after the Leafs had killed a tripping penalty to Nazem Kadri.
Toronto started the third period on the power play when Alexander Steen took a hooking penalty at 19:31 of the second.
Rielly scored his fourth goal of the season at 4:22 of the third when his shot trickled through the five-hole. Mitch Marner and Jake Gardiner earned assists.
The Maple Leafs got another chance with a man advantage when Schenn was called for tripping at 12:41. With seven seconds left in the penalty, Toronto's Andreas Johnsson was penalized for holding the stick.
The Blues were short-handed again when Jaden Schwartz took a hooking penalty at 16:55, and the Maple Leafs removed their goaltender for an added attacker.
Barbashev slid his first goal of the season into the vacant net.
