The Blackhawks led 3-1 after 40 minutes.

Perry got the Oilers on the board, tying it 1-1 at 4:55 of the middle frame. He put the rebound of Jeff Skinner's shot off the skate of Blackhawks defenseman T.J. Brodie and past Mrazek for his first of the season.

Chicago took a 2-1 lead midway through the second period on a power play. Jones put a wrist shot from the point past a screened Pickard for his first of the season in his 800th career NHL game.

Bedard made it 3-1, snapping a wrist shot glove-side past Pickard for his first of the season at 13:58 of the second period.
