Arvid Soderblom made 37 saves, Seth Jones scored twice and the Chicago Blackhawks scored four power-play goals en route to snapping a 22-game road losing streak with a 5-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday night in Tempe, Ariz.
Chicago's Nick Foligno and Jason Dickinson each had a goal and an assist, Tyler Johnson had three assists, Connor Bedard logged two helpers and Philipp Kurashev also scored.
The Blackhawks won on the road for the first time since a 5-3 victory at Tampa Bay on Nov. 9.
It was the first time since Jan. 9, 2018, at Ottawa that the Blackhawks scored four power-play goals in a game. Chicago entered the contest ranked last in the NHL on the power play at 12.7 percent and had scored a total of four power-play goals in January and four again in February.
Soderblom snapped a personal 13-game losing streak (0-12-1) dating back to a 4-3 overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Nov. 24.
Nick Bjugstad and Michael Carcone scored and Connor Ingram finished with 27 saves for Arizona, which had a two-game winning streak snapped.
The Blackhawks took a 1-0 lead at the 10:54 mark of the first period on a five-on-three power play. Jones one-timed a shot from the left point that changed direction off the stick of Coyotes defenseman Troy Stecher and went into the top right corner of the net.
Bjugstad tied it early in the second period with his 14th goal on a wrist shot from the right circle at the end of a two-on-one.
Foligno made it 2-1 at the 4:27 mark of the second. He redirected Bedard's crossing pass in front of the blue paint inside the right post for his 15th goal.
Carcone tied it again midway through the period when he batted in his own rebound for his 17th goal.
Chicago answered with two more power-play goals in the final six minutes of the period to lead 4-2. Dickinson got the first when he redirected Kevin Korchinski's pass into the slot past Ingram's right pad for his 18th goal. Kurashev followed with a one-timer from the right point past Ingram's glove side for his 11th.
Jones sealed the win with an empty-netter with 28 seconds remaining, his third.
