Sidney Crosby scored twice and Evgeni Malkin once in the third period Saturday to give the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins a 4-1 win over Arizona Coyotes in Glendale, Ariz.

Kasperi Kapanen also scored for the Penguins, who have won four of their past five games.

Pittsburgh goaltender Tristan Jarry improved to 6-1 in his past seven games with 20 saves.

Clayton Keller scored for the Coyotes, who had won two straight games and six of seven.

Arizona goaltender Scott Wedgewood made 45 saves.

The Penguins dominated the first period, including a 19-5 shot advantage, but Wedgewood was stellar.

Pittsburgh broke the ice at 2:09 of the second on a goal that left Kapanen literally kissing his stick in celebration.

Jeff Carter carried the puck out from the right-wing boards and was able to weave a pass across the top of the crease. Kapanen was near the far post for a one-timer over Wedgewood's pads and a 1-0 lead.

That ended a goal drought of 20 games for the Penguins winger, which dated to Jan. 23 and included a couple demotions from the second line and even one game as a healthy scratch.

The Coyotes tied it at 11:28 of the second. Keller got a step behind chasing Pittsburgh defensemen Mike Matheson and John Marino and bore down on Jarry. His shot squeaked under Jarry's pads and just over the goal line.

That extended Keller's point streak to eight games (six goals, 15 points).

On the tiebreaker, Bryan Rust dug the puck out of the left corner and fed Malkin at the near hash marks. Malkin glided to his right and got off a backhand shot, which was stopped by Wedgewood. Malkin got the puck back and lifted the rebound over Wedgewood's glove at 12:36 of the third.

Crosby pushed it to 3-1 at 16:13 of the third. As Jake Guentzel fought his way through the left circle with the puck, Crosby moved in from the other side to the far post and converted a feed from Guentzel.

Crosby added an empty-netter with 1:50 left.
