Sam Lafferty, Jake Guentzel and Zach Aston-Reese each scored twice as the Pittsburgh Penguins won their third game in a row, defeating the host Winnipeg Jets 7-2 Sunday.
Dominik Simon also scored for the Penguins and goaltender Tristan Jarry made 27 saves.
Mathieu Perreault and Mark Scheifele scored for the Jets, who had their three-game winning streak snapped. Goalie Laurent Brossoit stopped 21 of 28 shots.
Lafferty, who was recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League last week due to a rash of injuries to Penguins forwards, scored his first NHL goal in a 7-4 victory Saturday at Minnesota. He has three goals and two assists in four games.
Lafferty scored what proved to be the winner at 8:31 of the second period, just 41 seconds after Guentzel had given the Penguins their first lead. Joseph Blandisi's shot went wide left of the net, but the rebound bounced off the end boards and Lafferty, who had skated hard to the right post, tapped a bouncing puck past Brossoit to make it 3-1.
Lafferty's second goal came at 9:13 of the third, giving the Penguins a 5-2 lead. He skated behind the net and spun when he got to the left faceoff circle. His shot deflected off a defenseman's skate and into the upper left corner of the net.
Guentzel tallied his second at 11:40 of the third and Aston-Reese capped the scoring with a power-play breakaway at 14:46.
Perreault gave the Jets, who won 3-2 in overtime Saturday in Chicago, an early lead as his centering pass deflected off a defenseman's skate and into the net just 1:47 into the game.
Aston-Reese tied it at 4:09, knocking home a rebound after Teddy Blueger's shot ricocheted off the left post.
Guentzel's power-play goal at 7:50 of the second gave the Penguins a 2-1 lead.
Scheifele scored a power-play goal with a nifty backhander to pull the Jets within 3-2 at the midpoint of the second period, but Simon gave the Penguins a 4-2 lead entering the third, jamming home the puck after Sidney Crosby kicked it out front while being checked to the ice behind the goal line.
