Team Toews 17, Team Foligno 12: Jakub Voracek of the Philadelphia Flyers matched Mario Lemieux's record by notching six points and New York Islanders captain John Tavares tied the all-time mark with four goals as Team Toews outshined Team Foligno in the 60th NHL All-Star Game at Nationwide Arena in Columbus.

Tavares and Voracek (three assists) respectively registered the 17th and 18th hat tricks in All-Star Game history, captain Jonathan Toews and Patrice Bergeron each scored a goal and set up four others and Vladimir Tarasenko and rookie defenseman Aaron Ekblad notched four assists apiece as Team Toews set the record for most tallies by one team in the exhibition. Tyler Seguin added two goals and two assists while goaltenders Roberto Luongo, Corey Crawford and Jaroslav Halak each allowed four tallies in one period - with Crawford picking up the victory.

Hometown favorite Ryan Johansen earned MVP honors by recording two goals and two assists for Team Foligno, which was part of the highest-scoring game in All-Star history - eclipsing the mark of 26 goals in 2001. Patrick Kane and Steven Stamkos each registered two goals and an assist, captain Nick Foligno of the Blue Jackets added one of each and Carey Price put forth the best effort in net by yielding four tallies on 16 shots in the opening period.

Tavares scored with 57 seconds remaining to forge a tie in an eight-goal first period before the clubs matched that offensive output less than 9 1/2 minutes into the second session. Defenseman Ryan Suter ignited the scoring frenzy by beating Marc-Andre Fleury to the short side from the left faceoff circle 24 seconds into the period, but Claude Giroux swept a return feed by Kane past Crawford from the slot eight seconds later to match the All-Star Game record for fastest two goals scored.

Seguin and Stamkos traded tallies 65 seconds apart before former Blue Jacket Rick Nash began a stretch of four consecutive goals by Team Toews that created a 10-6 lead. Foligno and Stamkos cut Team Foligno's deficit to two before Tavares scored with exactly one minute left in the period to complete his hat trick and stake Team Toews to an 11-8 advantage.

Nash and Kane scored 46 seconds apart early in the third to keep it a three-goal game before Tavares netted his fourth of the contest at 6:13 and Voracek - who began his career with Columbus - capped his hat trick 1:17 later to make it 14-9.
