Flyers 4, Penguins 3 (OT): Defenseman Mark Streit scored 2:10 into overtime and Jakub Voracek and captain Claude Giroux each recorded three-point performances as visiting Philadelphia clinched third place in the Metropolitan Division.

Pittsburgh blue-liner Kris Letang scored to forge a tie with 37 seconds remaining in the third period but was denied by Ray Emery on the doorstep early in overtime. Streit's weak backhand shot from the right faceoff circle skipped between the pads of Marc-Andre Fleury (17 saves) to give the Flyers their fourth win in five meetings with their Keystone State rivals this season and set up a first-round playoff matchup with the New York Rangers.

Voracek collected two goals and an assist and Giroux gave Philadelphia a 3-2 lead with a late tally in the third period. Emery stopped 12 shots after replacing Steve Mason (21 saves), who suffered an upper-body injury after being on the receiving end of a collision between teammate Andrew MacDonald and Pittsburgh's Jayson Megna in the second session.

James Neal recorded a goal and two assists, Letang had one of each and Jussi Jokinen scored to extend his point streak to four games for the division-champion Penguins.

Giroux, who notched two assists, split two Pittsburgh defenders to redirect Voracek's centering feed inside the right post with 1:15 left in regulation to give Philadelphia a 3-2 lead. The Penguins countered 38 seconds later as Neal chipped the puck to Letang, who backhanded it home from the slot.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After surrendering the first 12 shots of the second, the Flyers finally broke through and claimed a 2-1 lead with 5:22 remaining in the period. Giroux one-timed a blast from deep in the left circle that hit bodies in front, causing the puck to slowly trickle past Fleury before Voracek extended himself to tap it home. Neal knotted it up with 5:07 left in the third, wristing a shot from deep in the right circle past Emery. ... Philadelphia scored a power-play goal in Pittsburgh for the 11th straight game. ... Jokinen has collected two goals and two assists during his point streak. ... Pittsburgh LW Chris Kunitz and D Brooks Orpik sat out for the second time in three games with undisclosed injuries. Philadelphia Ds Kimmo Timonen and Nicklas Grossmann also were scratched. Former Penguin D Hal Gill suited up and played in his first game for the Flyers since Dec. 21.
