Blackhawks 4, Oilers 1: Patrick Kane collected a goal and two assists and Corey Crawford stopped all 14 shots he faced in relief of an injured Ray Emery as visiting Chicago secured the second Presidents' Trophy in franchise history.

Captain Jonathan Toews matched Kane with his 22nd goal, defenseman Johnny Oduya also tallied and Marian Hossa recorded his 500th career assist. Patrick Sharp returned from a five-game absence due to a shoulder injury to add an empty-net goal for the Blackhawks, who also finished first overall in points in 1990-91.

While Michal Handzus notched three assists, all was not positive for Chicago as Emery exited 13:49 into the first period with a lower-body injury. Crawford highlighted his performance with a stellar glove save on Jordan Eberle from in close early in the second period to preserve a 2-1 advantage.

Kane gave Chicago that very lead at 8:11 of the first period by slipping the puck between the pads of Devan Dubnyk (26 saves) on a breakaway. Oduya provided insurance 4:36 into the third as he snapped a shot from the left faceoff dot into the far corner of the net.

Toews opened the scoring 3:58 into the contest after taking advantage of Taylor Hall's turnover in the neutral zone. The captain skated in on a 2-on-1 rush and beat Dubnyk with a wrist shot from the top of the right circle. Top overall pick Nail Yakupov answered 52 seconds later, beating Emery from the faceoff dot for his 12th goal.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Chicago C Drew LeBlanc made his NHL debut and registered three shots on goal in 11:50 of ice time. LeBlanc was the 2013 Hobey Baker Award recipient after collecting 13 goals and 37 assists in 42 games with St. Cloud State. ... The wheels have come off for the Oilers, who fell to 1-9-0 in their last 10 games. ... The Blackhawks have won seven of their last nine visits to Rexall Place.
