Derek Morris scored the go-ahead goal in the third period and Ilya Bryzgalov made 37 saves to lead the visiting Phoenix Coyotes to a 4-3 comeback victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday.

Vernon Fiddler, Eric Belanger and Radim Vrbata also scored for Phoenix, which is 4-0-1 over its last five games.

Phoenix trailed, 3-2, when Vrbata evened matters 36 seconds into the third period. Morris gave the Coyotes their first lead of the night with a slap shot from the point midway through the frame. Martin Hanzal assisted on both goals.

The Blue Jackets jumped out to a quick start in the first period when Jared Boll scored at the 2:56 mark before Rostislav Klesla tallied again less than six minutes later.

Fiddler scored his fifth of the season while Phoenix was shorthanded at 2:14 of the second session to make it 2-1, but Kristian Huselius answered on the power play a minute later. Belanger cut the deficit again less than a minute after that with his fifth of the season.

Mathieu Garon made 24 saves for Columbus.
