Tyler Ennis scored a pair of goals and captain Craig Rivet recorded a tally and an assist as the Buffalo Sabres posted a 5-2 victory over the visiting Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday.

Drew Stafford and Nathan Gerbe also tallied, Derek Roy and defenseman Jordan Leopold each notched two assists and Ryan Miller made 21 saves for the Sabres, who have won five of their last six home games.

Stafford opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 4:43 of the first period and Gerbe netted his first of the season midway through the session for a 2-0 bulge.

Anaheim's Jason Blake received a five-minute major for boarding Patrick Kaleta at 13:36, and Ennis cashed in during the man advantage, beating Curtis McElhinney from the left faceoff circle for his eighth tally. Ennis completed his first multi-goal performance of the campaign at 4:40 of the middle period.

Corey Perry netted two power-play goals, Teemu Selanne had two assists and McElhinney made 37 saves for the Ducks, who had won their previous four meetings with the Sabres. Anaheim fell to 2-3 on its seven-game road trip.
