The Blue Devils made five of their first 11 second-half shots from 3-point range. That made up for limited free-throw opportunities, with the Blue Devils at 2 of 5 on foul shots with less than eight minutes to play. They finished 10 of 13 for the game.

Boston College went up 28-27 with 4:47 remaining in the first half on consecutive 3-pointers from Harris for its first lead since the opening two-plus minutes of the game. Duke answered with a 7-0 spurt.

The Blue Devils led 36-32 at halftime while shooting 4 of 16 from 3-point range. Boston College didn't score on its first four possessions of the second half and fell into a 43-32 hole.

Five of Boston College's first six shots of the game were from 3-point range. Madsen had nine of the team's first 11 points.

The Eagles were aiming for their fifth true road win of the season, something they haven't accomplished in 13 years. Boston College is winless in 14 all-time games at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
