Arkansas stretched its winning streak to three games on Wednesday night by beating Ole Miss 74-59 in Fayetteville, Ark.

The Razorbacks (13-4, 5-4 Southeastern Conference) prevailed by stepping out of character -- they let their defense carry the day and got big scoring nights from bench players while their top scorer was on the bench.

Arkansas was led by reserve JD Notae's 19 points while fellow non-starter Davonte Davis added 14.

Moses Moody, who led the Razorbacks in scoring at 17.3 points per game entering the night, got into early foul trouble and spent much of the game spectating. He finished with five points, making his first field goal with just under two minutes remaining. Moody played just 19 minutes.

The Razorbacks lead the SEC in scoring, averaging 85 points per game before Wednesday, which ranked ninth nationally.

The Rebels, who were coming off consecutive wins over Mississippi State and Texas A&M, held those teams to 46 and 50 points, respectively. Against Arkansas, their combinations of zone and man defenses had a tough night.

Ole Miss (8-7, 3-5) got 19 points from Devontae Shuler, 11 from Jarkel Joiner and 10 from Luis Rodriguez.

The teams played evenly at the start, but a 9-0 run pushed the Razorbacks out to a 22-13 lead at with just under 11 minutes to go in the half. From there, Arkansas stretched its lead and went into intermission up 37-25.

Davis led the Razorbacks with eight first-half points while Shuler had eight before the break for the Rebels.

Arkansas pulled away early in the second half, expanding the lead to 49-31 with 11:49 to go.

The Razorbacks will return to action on Saturday when they travel to take on Oklahoma State. Ole Miss will also be on the road Saturday at Georgia.
