Alabama streaked to its seventh straight victory and remained undefeated in the Southeastern Conference when it breezed to a 90-59 win over Arkansas on Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

John Petty Jr. had 17 points and Jaden Shackelford added 16 for the Crimson Tide (11-3, 6-0).

Petty became Alabama's all time leader in 3-point field goals, hitting five on nine attempts against Arkansas.

The Razorbacks (10-4, 2-4) got a big night from Moses Moody, who had 28 points and nine rebounds. Jalen Tate added 10 points in the loss.

Alabama, which knocked off Kentucky on Tuesday, entered the game sitting just outside the Top 25 in the current poll. The Tide collected 173 votes this week, just eight behind No. 25 UConn.

Arkansas, which was the highest scoring team in the SEC at 87.2 points a game, looked like the lowest scoring team in the opening half. Through the first 10 minutes, the Razorbacks were 1 of 11 from the floor and trailed 22-5.

Things got only a smidge better for the Razorbacks in the final 10 minutes of the half, as they headed to the locker room down 42-19 on 23 percent shooting and with a 12 in the turnover column. Moody had 14 points.

And while the Razorbacks came out strong, scoring the first five points of the second half, there was no catching the Tide.

Both teams started the game with injuries to key players. But when the players took the floor, both teams were greeted good news.

Alabama's Herb Jones was on the floor despite suffering a hand injury last time out. Also returning for the Tide was Jahvon Quinerly.

Jones scored 13 while Quinerly had seven points and four assists.

Arkansas' Justin Smith started just 15 days after having ankle surgery. He had five points.

The Razorbacks were coming off a tough 92-76 loss against LSU on Tuesday. It was a loss that saw coach Eric Musselman spend much of his post-game press conference with his face in hands.

Alabama will next take on LSU in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday while the Razorbacks will hit the road for a game against Auburn on Wednesday.
