Daryl Macon's dunk off a nifty feed from Trey Thompson with 2:27 to play gave Arkansas a 77-69 lead. Macon added five free throws in the final 38 seconds to secure the victory.

Manuale Watkins added 13 points for Arkansas, Macon hit for 12 and Dusty Hannahs and Moses Kingsley scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, as the Razorbacks (21-7, 10-5 SEC) won their fourth consecutive game. Kingsley also grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Arkansas.

Texas A&M's Tyler Davis led all scorers with 21 points. Robert Williams added 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Admon Gilder hit for 17 points, 13 of those in the first half. Tonny Trocha-Morelos scored 10 for the Aggies (14-13, 6-9), who lost for the third time in four outings.

Arkansas led 36-33 at the half despite being outshot 54.5 percent to 50 percent by Texas A&M, shooting just three free throws and losing the rebounding battle 15-13. The Razorbacks took 10 more shots from the floor than Texas A&M did (32-22) and made 16 to the Aggies' 12. But Texas A&M made up most of that discrepancy by making 7 of 8 free throws.

Gilder had 13 first-half points and Davis added nine. Arkansas, led by Watkins' seven points in the first 20 minutes of play, was more balanced, getting points from eight players.

Arkansas led by as much as 10 points at the 12:05 mark of the second half, but the Aggies charged back to get within 69-67 on a dunk by Williams with 4:34 to play. However, Barford scored all six of the Razorbacks' points during an ensuing 6-2 run that pushed the lead to 75-69 with 3:13 remaining.

For the game, the Aggies made 50.8 percent of their field-goal attempts, while the Razorbacks hit 47.6 percent. Texas A&M wound up with a 35-33 rebounding edge.
