Vanderbilt played without guard Matthew Fisher-Davis and his teammates more than picked up the slack in a 72-59 win over Arkansas on Tuesday night in Fayetteville, Ark.

All five Commodore starters scored double figures, with guard Nolan Cressler (13 points) leading the way.

Arkansas guard Dusty Hannahs scored a game-high 24 points for the Razorbacks, who shot just 38.1 percent from the field.

Two weeks to the day earlier, Hannahs had led a late charge as the Razorbacks erased a 16-point deficit in the final five minutes to give Arkansas a 71-70 win over Vanderbilt in Nashville.

The senior scored 21 points in the second half in this one, but when he converted a layup with 1:51 left, the Razorbacks had cut a 23-point lead to 12.

The deficit was too much. Center Luke Kornet (12 points) hit 5 of 6 foul shots from there as the Commodores (12-2, 5-6 Southeastern Conference) never allowed the Razorbacks closer than that.

Vanderbilt led by 21 at the half, building that lead on the strength of a 19-0 run and 10-of-15 3-point shooting.

Arkansas (17-7, 6-5) clamped down on the perimeter in the second half, as Vanderbilt was just 2 of 8 from long range after the break. Instead, the Commodores, led by Cressler's 10 second-half points on 4-of-5 shooting from the floor, took it to the hole time and again with success.

Guard Riley LaChance and forward Jeff Roberson each had 12 points, and forward Joe Toye had 11 for Vanderbilt.

Fisher-Davis, who leads Vanderbilt in scoring (15.3 points), was suspended for "a violation of athletic department policy," and his absence left Vanderbilt with just eight available players. Vandy's starting five played all but 25 minutes.

Center Moses Kingsley added 11 points for Arkansas, which won the turnover battle 16-6.
