Daryl Macon scored 16 points and made seven of his nine free throws in the final 4:20 as Arkansas rallied to beat Texas A&M 62-60 on Tuesday in Southeastern Conference action at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.

Two free throws by Macon with 2:26 to play and then two more one minute later granted the Razorbacks a 61-56 lead.

D.J. Hogg responded with two free throws for the Aggies with 56 seconds to play to cut the Arkansas led to three points. He added two more from the charity stripe with 27 seconds remaining to pull the Aggies to within 61-60.

Arkansas' Jaylen Barford missed two free throws but the Razorbacks corralled the offensive rebound, only to see Macon lose the ball. Hogg missed a jumper that would have given the Aggies the lead with 7 seconds to play and Macon took the rebound and was fouled. He then sank another free throw before Texas A&M's Admon Gilder failed on a desperation 3-pointer to end the game.

The Aggies were scoreless for nearly six minutes after taking a 56-50 lead on a Tonny Trocha-Morelos jumper with 6:52 to play. Texas A&M did not make a field goal after Trocha-Morelos' basket, missing all six of its shots down the stretch while committing four turnovers.

Moses Kingsley added 12 points for the Razorbacks (14-4, 3-3 in SEC play).

Gilder led Texas A&M with 16 points, while Tyler Davis added 14 and Hogg hit for 10 points. Robert Williams took 10 rebounds for the Aggies (9-8, 1-5 in SEC).

Texas A&M led 32-20 at halftime despite shooting just 31 percent from the floor. The Aggies outscored Arkansas 10-3 at the free throw line as Gilder jumped in nine points and Davis added eight.

Macon led the Razorbacks, who shot 42.9 percent, with seven points in the first half.

A Kingsley basket on Arkansas' first possession of the second half pulled the Razorbacks to even at 32 but Texas A&M responded by scoring the game's next eight points.

Arkansas went the first 5:45 of the half without field goal but crawled back to within 43-36 on a Thomas layup. The Razorbacks then forged a 14-4 run over a six and a half-minute stretch of the middle of the half to leapfrog into the lead, moving ahead 57-56 on tip-in by Kingsley with 3:15 to play.
